Powerful tool comparatively, very small battery. I bought an auxiliary battery, and still have issues with usage time. Apart from that, as a new buyer, I would say you need a good internet connection and that it updates almost constantly, for everything. That is, if you don't use it every day, before you use it, expect 15 hours to load various updates, which will delay your gaming, etc. Other than that, much more 'free' than the other VR models, it obviously needs a cable for the PC and the connection isn't the best. Also, the relationship with Steam and the way it operates has issues.
While it has a very beautiful image, the build quality is a bit below what I expected as these have 2 internal buttons to adjust the glasses to fit your face. One of the two has stuck while I was trying to slide it. I didn't apply much force, and from other reviews, it seems this mechanism is quite sensitive and breaks easily.
The default strap that goes on the head, although it fits very easily on any head, becomes quite tiring after a little while of use. I would suggest that along with the purchase of this, you get an aftermarket strap; there are many that do a better job and are more comfortable.
Finally, the battery lasts only 2:30-3 hours, so one must also buy an extra battery to be able to use it for a while.
The price was what it should be (I got it on sale for €500). Very economical for the performance it has.
The speakers are very good, with excellent surround sound and bass. The only downside is that if you have them loud, those around you can hear what's happening in VR, but the sound is crystal clear, so you won't need to keep it very high to hear.
The image is very smooth and very good; it doesn't tire you at all.
The cameras in front and the hand tracking are very useful. The cameras have good clarity, so you can see where you're going, and the hand tracking makes everything easier without needing controllers everywhere. The only downside is that in low light, the hand tracking gets confused, so you need to move your hands a bit for the VR to understand what's happening.
Overall, it is a very good VR even for beginners like me.
The Meta Quest 3 offered me an incredibly immersive VR experience, with impressive image quality, smooth gameplay, and a very comfortable fit. The controllers are precise and easy to use, while the independence from a computer makes it extremely practical.
The only downside I noticed is the battery life – with intense gameplay, it doesn't last more than 3 hours. That's why a power bank is essential to enjoy more gaming time. Nevertheless, it's an excellent headset that's worth it!
First experience with a VR headset. A unique experience that is definitely worth it; regarding the money you need to spend to buy it, it may seem like a lot, but I believe that with the first use alone, you forget the amount you have paid, as what it offers you is something unprecedented. As for the device, it has some minor issues with the head strap, but there are many options on the market that can solve this with an additional cost of around €50. Also, regarding the functionality of the VR, by downloading some applications, you can turn it into an amazing multi-tool. In conclusion, for anyone considering it, my personal opinion is not to hesitate, you won't regret it.. Purchased for €620
The experience of the MQ3 is far superior to that of the PS VR2, which I also have. It has better visuals and the overall user experience is more!!!!!
It is very worth it as a VR and at this price, but if you want to connect it to a computer, it needs very good specs.
It's the best I've seen in VR, the resolution of the screens is so good that it made the graphics of real life feel dull!

The S3 Pro is much more comfortable, worth the money, and it also has the extra battery, which you need because it only lasts 2 hours on its own!
I got an extra battery because my brother uses it too, so we don't have to wait for it to charge! We just swap the battery on the head strap!

It is perhaps the best standalone VR headset available on the market. For its price, it is worth a lot; I don't think anyone will find something better in this price range. The only thing that bothers me is how it sits on my head; I have to adjust it often.
I use it almost exclusively for sim racing, it is amazing and as a stand alone, it works perfectly with virtual desktop as well
Very good VR, I have tried several VRs in the past but here we have gone to another level. It is truly worth it. It is very important to get a good strap that fits well on the head so it doesn't get tiring. The one I got also has a battery.

I had the Oculus Quest 2 (before it was renamed to Meta Quest 2) and the upgrade to Quest 3 is night and day.
The resolution is amazing, it has color cameras, and of course, the processor.
As soon as you get it, just make sure to buy a head strap because the elastic band it comes with (just like the Quest 2) is useless. The weight presses around the eyes and gets tiring quickly. In my opinion, choose a Halo strap that distributes the weight on the forehead.
Okay, it's unbelievable what resolution it has. Coming from the Pico 4, I expected to have the same resolution, maybe even worse (because indeed the Quest 3 has slightly lower resolution than the Pico 4).
When I wore it, I was blown away. Unreal clarity of image, nothing compared to the Pico. What completely amazed me is that from edge to edge it has exactly the same clarity as when looking at the center. It also has Wi-Fi 6E, and when I connected it to a PC with Wi-Fi 6 using Virtual Desktop, it gave me a VR bitrate of 500. I put on Half Life Alyx and my jaw dropped. I was in awe for an hour just gazing around. So clear that I can read the ingredients on soda cans. If you have a beastly PC, then the PCVR is incredible. How they achieved this, I don't know. To understand what I mean: PCVR on Quest 2 is like playing on a 27-inch 720p, Pico 4 is like playing on a 27-inch 1080, and Quest 3 is like playing on a 27-inch 4K! So you get what I mean. What did these people do? Kudos to them! :P
I hear people saying it's heavy and tiring in front. I didn't notice anything like that. And the head straps are just fine. For 20 euros from Temu, you can get a decent one if you want.
Passthrough with depth sensor. The augmented VR games are simply magical. The one with the balls breaking the walls is incredible!
The battery is okay. Neither terrible nor wow. Just okay. If we factor in the 120Hz and the high resolution, then it's much more than okay.
The lenses, although much better than the Pico 4, unfortunately are smaller in diameter. This means that in the middle of the view, you see a black shadow, which your brain eliminates while playing. Like when we wear thick glasses, where we see a bit of the outline in the middle. That was a bit annoying, but I saw later that it disappears in the game.
Controllers are very comfortable; you don't even realize they are controllers.
So let's go to the positives and negatives:
Positives:
1) Price, for what it offers, the price at 550 is good.
2) Resolution, when I play PCVR at 200 bitrate, I simply can't believe I'm experiencing it.
3) Comfort, it feels just fine to me; now, if you get an aftermarket head strap and mask, it will be much better.
4) Controllers, convenient and small but not so small that they annoy.
5) I don't know what coating the lenses have, but no matter how much I sweat, they don't fog up at all; I remember with Quest 2 and Pico 4 I had to wipe them every 5 minutes.
6) The store is unbeatable, very advanced; you never get bored with it.
7) Color passthrough is very good, with a depth sensor, so you can relax comfortably without getting dizzy.
8) Non-existent flare lens. I wonder how I played with the Pico 4.
9) How much you care about the IPD adjustment. Since it has the same clarity of image from edge to edge, wherever you place it, you will still see clearly.
Negatives:
1) The lenses, although much better than the Pico 4, unfortunately are smaller in diameter. This results in a shadow in the center like a large V. Of course, the brain eliminates it just like it eliminates our nose, so we don't see it.
2) Very prone to white pixels. I have about 7-8, but they are so small that they aren't even noticeable.
Conclusion.
If you're looking for a VR headset, don't go anywhere else; it's the best of the best. Don't even look at the Pico 4 Ultra. The Quest 3 is way ahead in all areas!
Fantastic VR Headset but battery can run out pretty quickly, same thing for controllers.
There's a tiny gap underneath the nose unlike the PSVR2 which can ruin immersion but is also helpful when you want to see your surroundings but it comes with a disadvantage which causes the screen to become really foggy if you play sports games and start exhaling a lot.
The transition from 2 to 3 is very good, it is quite lighter, has many games, and new ones are added to the shop every week. The resolution is very good as well as the functionality with a computer. Overall, I am very satisfied. The version with 512 GB is excellent, as it offers Asgard's Wrath 2 for free, which is the best available in standalone, as well as a free subscription for six months that gives 2 games every month (and unlocks about ten games that have already been opened since last January)
The best VR headset so far. A little difficult to adjust, but if you find the right setting, it's wonderful. I also recommend it for a full purchase.
Great for having a large work desktop, watching videos. Some of the games suck and some are mad fun: Recommend to ppl who like tech.
First time with vr, from the little I have dealt with because I did not get it for myself I can say that I am impressed.
As for the build quality, it is quite good, it has quite a few free games (my favorite is mini golf). I imagine that after hours of playing the screens will be tiring for the eyes. However, in the approximately 1.5 hours that the battery lasts, I have not noticed anything like that.
There are times when the software freezes a little if you open apps and forget to close them, but a restart fixes it. During gameplay, it has not frozen so far except for one game which was in beta version.
When I manage to connect it to Xbox, I will come back

It has amazing image quality, it doesn't have that blur that the 2 had, while the screen resolution is similar I would say.
One problem I have seen is that if you leave it connected to the usb on the computer even when it's off instead of charging, it discharges for some reason, so it's better to disconnect it every time.
Its battery lasts about an hour and something.
The passthrough is quite good (impressive compared to its old version 2)
Overall, it has many areas for improvement but it is something that will be useful for a long time and it is very fun even for watching YouTube.

Get it for the games, buy 2 real monitors for any other use case.
I forgot to mention that I broke one of my (real) fingers whilst swinging a sword in Asgard's Wrath.
Overall, the device is expensive. You need to know what you are buying and why. It would be good to check available games first. You can easily find many cracked ones (mainly through reddit), so at least you don't need to spend money there compared to a ps5 for example.
Compared to the 2, it is clearly better in terms of comfort. The cameras are finally useful so you don't need to take off the headset to see anything. Of course, there is slight distortion in close objects but it's not as annoying as it seems in videos. The main problem is using them in a room with low lighting as the cameras cannot produce good video in the dark.
The battery lasts about 2 hours (I haven't measured exactly) in games on the headset, while I have noticed it drains even faster in 360-degree videos. Overall, I am satisfied with both the performance and the battery.
The head strap and foam are not so convenient and not suitable for small heads. You need a strap from a third party ideally, which is both cheap and quality. But for starters, it's okay.
Tracking and screens are very good, maybe slightly better than the 2. However, there is no huge difference. The sound is very satisfactory and strong, as well as the microphone.
I recommend it, especially for people who have used the 2 and liked it. If you just want to try it and are starting VR now, it might be better to go for the 2 as it is half the price and the main thing you are missing is the passthrough.
I recommend a 5g router for better connection and casting to a mobile when it's standalone, but also for better connection to a PC for PCVR games.

It is completely autonomous, with sufficient processing power, continuous support (they even added a Greek keyboard!), all your purchases are upgraded in the future (I transitioned from Quest 2 and I have everything I had purchased, compare it to ps3-4-5), enormous possibilities for free applications as well as many mods for blockbuster pc-vr. The cost for what it offers is very fair.'

The headset has good image quality compared to the headset you put inside your mobile phone.
The image in 3D or 360 videos on YouTube is not good at 1080p or 4k, videos at 8k and above have amazing image quality. The headset has an uncomfortable strap with or without glasses, which makes it difficult to use for more than an hour. The battery lasts less than two hours in 3D applications or high-resolution 4K VR videos and it heats up.
I have the impression that it doesn't have enough apps (that don't kill different things), and the good apps are either subscription-based (€10 per month and above) or expensive (€30+) and they don't offer discounts, the new (beta early version) apps are cheaper or free. I haven't tried side quest, installing the android play store, and using it as pcvr. Nevertheless, it is the VR headset with the most applications, that's why I didn't buy the pico 4 with half the cost.
In a dark room, the controllers and hand-space detection seem not to work.
They say that VR causes nausea, but I didn't experience such a problem in 1 hour of use.
To work properly, it needs at least another €100 for a better head strap with a battery or power bank, magnetic lenses for those who wear glasses, and a grip so that we don't have to search for the controllers.
There are reports on the internet that it should not be charged with more than 2A of power because the type c port gets burned, so it needs a power supply or power bank of about 18W (9V 2A, 5V 2A).
Reading comments is one thing, experiencing it is another. I had no contact with Vr and as soon as they showed me the meta quest 2 the next express delivery meta quest 3. A life experience and it is definitely the future. If I had to say a negative about my choice, it would be the capacity. Because the tough and good games are 15-25 gb, I can't have 3 of them downloaded in the game library. You have to delete one as soon as you finish it to install the next one. If I knew, I would have taken the 500GB. Games like Assasins Creed, Arizona Sunshine 2 and even though I have 37GB available space, it doesn't let me install Asgard with 31GB because it needs about twice as much to install. Overall, the experience and mixed reality are perfect. I highly recommend it.
I have had it for 6 days and I have to say that it is worth every minute. The only downside I have to say is that what holds it on the head is not very convenient but with 24 euros from temu you get a better one
Good overall. The most important upgrade in my opinion compared to the Quest 2 is the lenses, which have sharpness throughout the range. The cameras for mixed reality use are clearly better than the 2, but I believe there was room for further improvement. If used with the factory strap, it is somewhat uncomfortable. After one hour, it starts to tire.
My first VR so I don't have similar experience. Nevertheless, I have to say that I am impressed and I feel like it was worth every euro I spent! I have fallen in love with it! The only negative thing so far is unfortunately its battery, while I am enjoying the headset, I realize that the battery has run out again. I bought it for 674.50 and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good VR as it has most of the features in the market. Wonderful resolution, I watch movies on the Bigscreen application, it connects wirelessly to PC, it has amazing speakers for VR, what else can I say! I highly recommend it!
