The AE300's lineage dates back to the original AE1 and uses the latest generation 130mm mid-bass driver. It features a new ceramic aluminum cone with a very shallow profile and extremely high force, long-throw motor system, providing improved dispersion, extended bass performance, and overall power handling capability.

A new 28mm aluminum tweeter has been developed for the 300 series, offering high power handling and low fundamental resonance to reduce distortion. The main beneficial factor in this new design is the excellent dispersion characteristics thanks to the Wide Dispersion Technology waveguides. The waveguides shape the tweeter's acoustic output to match the woofer and provide a wider listening sweet spot in your environment.

The inert 18mm high-density MDF cabinet utilizes patented bracing technology derived from the award-winning Reference series to reduce cabinet coloration and allow the new drivers to breathe freely in the listening environment. The rear port enhances bass output and has been carefully developed to reduce the effect of aerodynamic turbulence for clean and distortion-free bass performance.
