With a toddler at home, it's ideal for picking up the various things that get scattered. The sole is very convenient, it was worth the purchase.
edit: 1.5 years later, various plastic parts of the sole have broken, for which there are no replacements, so it is now useless. The mechanism that opens the bin has also stuck and cannot be cleaned at the filter. On the positive side, it still has very strong suction power.
My sister gave me this handheld vacuum as a gift because she also had one of the same brand (different model) and thought it would be useful for me. Within 6 months, with not even frequent use, the battery started to die. The problem was that I had already bought the same one for my mother-in-law because I thought it would be especially useful for her due to the flooring. As a result, both vacuums lost their suction power very quickly and their batteries only lasted a maximum of 2 minutes to pick up something that fell for a short time. On the downside, emptying the dustbin requires a method so that the trash doesn't fall into the parts of the vacuum, and the weight is also a big issue. It became useless in such a short period of time, which was unexpected. I was completely disappointed and still refuse to throw it away. (I bought a cheap stick vacuum with a cord and it works perfectly fine for me.)
If someone wants a small vacuum cleaner as an auxiliary tool in the office or at home, there is no second one at this price. Quality construction, I would buy it again without a second thought
Without exaggeration, it deserves 10 stars! There are definitely better stick vacuums out there, but not for under 100€ (at least before 2 years ago when we bought it).
It cleans a 60sqm house with two dogs daily, and in some cases, twice a day. The battery barely lasts for a complete detailed cleaning, and the filter definitely needs cleaning once a week to continue working effectively (emptying it after each use goes without saying).
We haven't noticed any significant decrease in battery life, but we make sure not to leave it plugged in once it's fully charged.
Just from the bags we would have changed with a conventional vacuum, we have already made up for the cost... not to mention the convenience of cordless use.
A wonderful vacuum that I will buy again at the first opportunity I see it on sale!
Owner for 1.5 years. Powerful vacuum cleaner, ideal for quick daily cleaning along with the handle. Somewhat difficult to use due to its design, it requires two hands, one on the filter/motor handle and one to handle the handle. The nozzle does not attach securely to the motor/filter, making it difficult to handle with one hand. On the plus side, the flexible hose makes it easy to reach inaccessible corners. The bin empties easily and the filters can be disassembled and washed, although it needs to be done regularly (every 3-4 cleanings) depending on the amount of dust it collects. The charging base does not screw onto the wall and requires some space for storage. Overall, a satisfactory purchase for around €90, but it definitely does not replace an electric vacuum cleaner. P.S. In September 2023, the central charging board burned out for unknown reasons, and the cost of replacement parts and labor is as much as buying a new one. I am looking for a replacement board from China, but so far, nothing. It's a shame because it was good, but if it becomes useless within 2 years, we have a problem...
I have trusted Black & Decker vacuum cleaners for many years and I am completely satisfied, but this particular one disappointed me. Compared to the other two I have from the same brand (PV1420L & DVJ215J), it makes much more noise and its suction power is much lower. While it is beautiful and flexible, it lacks in the most important aspect: being able to pull satisfactorily.
We purchased the handheld vacuum to clean certain areas of the house that required very little time, such as the kitchen (crumbs, etc.), corners, and children's rooms, so that we wouldn't have to use the bulky and inconvenient full-size vacuum. For this task, it gets a 10/10. With one hand, you hold the vacuum, and with the other, the handle or attachment. The spiral design makes the vacuum incredibly user-friendly (I say this because I previously had a simple rechargeable handheld vacuum that you had to hold with one hand the whole time). It has a handle with a foot for smooth surfaces and carpets, an attachment for tight spaces, and a brush attachment (although the handle may be a bit short for taller individuals). The weight didn't bother us. Please note that the charging base CANNOT be wall-mounted, but only placed on a horizontal surface. The charging cable is approximately 1.3m long. The surface area needed to place the charging base with the vacuum on top is about 25cm x 25cm. The battery lasts for over 15 minutes. Emptying the dustbin is very easy. For the use I give it, I have never run out of battery. The only thing I don't like is that it is a bit noisy. What remains to be seen is how well the battery will hold its performance over time and recharges.
Generally, I don't like to give one or two stars, but I wanted to share my own experience. The product is excellent. I bought it two years ago and it worked perfectly until recently. Then, the battery started to last for only a minute. I turn it on, it absorbs for a few seconds, and then its power starts to decrease and it turns off. I contacted the dealership for replacement parts, and the woman I spoke to found it after a long search and told me the price: €100, the same as the price of the product itself!!! So, I decided to buy a new vacuum cleaner. I hope this problem is only with my model and those who wrote above won't experience the same as me. If you want to buy this specific product, this story might help you.
Because it is helpful, its duration is more than enough. If my goal is to clean the whole house (regardless of square footage), the corded vacuum is the way to go. (Of course, the latter depends on how persistent or "nitpicky" one is.)
Very good solution! Especially the attachment for the floor is very convenient! The battery life is very satisfactory --- the only negative is the noise that reaches normal vacuum levels...
It makes a lot of noise, meaning excessive for me who doesn't have a particular sensitivity. Its absorbency is good but it didn't impress me. Overall, I don't consider it a bad purchase, I just wasn't thrilled.
The best vacuum cleaner there is. I have thrown away 3 so far and finally ended up with the right one. I clean the whole house (90sqm) with a quick sweep in about 12-14 minutes, which is when the battery runs out. It is perfect in terms of usage and performance, very powerful and user-friendly. It is not lightweight and not silent, but it really is like a compact broom. I recommend the version with the attachments and the stick. It's worth every euro!
An excellent tool for cleaning! It performs like a regular electric vacuum in terms of performance and noise. I see no reason to purchase a regular electric vacuum if you have this
I have it for a year and it is very convenient. It is easy to clean and the filter is washable, so far no replacement is needed. The vacuum cleaner cleans well, but it has one negative aspect: it takes 4 hours to charge and only works for ten minutes. It doesn't function while charging. Other than that, it works great, cleans satisfactorily.
I bought it 3 months ago. I have pets (a dog and cats) and my house needs daily vacuuming because it gets filled with hair. This handheld vacuum saved me. It is user-friendly, lightweight, and can fit anywhere. I use it with the extension of the vacuum attached to the unit, so I can hold it with one hand. However, one can also unwind the flexible hose and hold the unit in one hand and the vacuum in the other. The filter and dust container can be easily detached and cleaned. The battery life lasts for about half an hour and the suction power is satisfactory. Of course, it does not replace a regular vacuum, but for me, who is not a super housekeeper due to my demanding job, it is a lifesaver. I gave it 5 stars considering that a handheld vacuum at this price cannot do the job that my electric vacuum, which costs three times as much, does.
Expensive, expensive, expensive!
Having said that, the vacuum cleaner is very good, very powerful but at the same time very noisy... Good construction, indeed lightweight and user-friendly, we'll see if its battery will last as they say. The front extension that turns into an electric broom solves many problems
I have it for 4 months, it is powerful and its battery lasts quite a long time. It is lightweight, easy to use, and can clean hard-to-reach areas. I also use it to clean my car. It is expensive but worth it.
