The Dark Rock Elite features 7 high-performance copper heat pipes and 2 Silent Wings fans, specially designed for maximum air pressure and perfect airflow. As a result, this high-end cooler always keeps your CPU at peak performance, especially in systems with intense overclocking and demanding workstations.
2 Silent Wings 135mm PWM fans provide maximum airflow for unprecedented cooling. Although designed for high performance, the fans are nearly silent at normal speeds. In silent operation, the maximum noise is just 25.8dB(A). This is achieved with advanced fluid dynamic bearings and smooth 6-pole fan motors.
The front fan can be easily adjusted in height, making the Dark Rock Elite compatible with almost any configuration. Adjusting the fan is very easy: thanks to the innovative rail system, the fan position can be changed in 5 steps.
The speed switch allows you to choose between 2 modes, each affecting the fan's maximum speed and PWM curve. The silent mode provides a maximum fan speed of 1500r/min and is the ideal choice for ultra-quiet builds. The Performance Mode allows the Silent Wings fans to spin up to 2000r/min and unleashes the full power of the Dark Rock Elite.
The top cover features ARGB LEDs that light up in endless colors, which can be adjusted with any ARGB controller. Combined with its unique design, the Dark Rock Elite becomes the highlight of any system and is particularly suitable for exclusive showcases. The special black coating with ceramic particles not only adds a visual highlight to the air cooler: it also allows for perfect heat transfer.

The best product available, I highly recommend it. Its size requires a suitable Tower. Silent with discreet RGB lighting. Easy to install with the provided magnetic screwdriver (I assembled the whole PC with it). Worth every euro!
The best cooler I have used so far. I use my main computer (i7 9700k) for office work, music recording (home studio), and minimal gaming (like FIFA and strategy). Noise is something I absolutely want to avoid, and my choices in cases, fans, and coolers are always clearly oriented towards that. I was hesitant to buy it due to its size and thinking it might be too much for my case. However, I have not regretted it at all. Excellent quality, very easy to assemble, aesthetically pleasing despite its size, zero noise during normal use (web, multimedia, browsing, recording), temperatures -10 degrees compared to the also low noise dark rock slim it replaced. Anyone looking to avoid water cooling, like me, I think this is the only way to go. I want to emphasize here the excellent quality of Be Quiet in everything I have trusted them with so far (case, coolers, fans).
It fits with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, the temperature does not exceed 67 degrees under full load 100%. Fantastic. It is bulky, the back fan can be repositioned as it is movable so it does not interfere with the RAM. For those who want to avoid water cooling like me, this is the only way.

I had to remove the front fan because the memories were tall, but I have very good fans in front of the case, so no problem. And with lower memories, I believe the front fan would fit marginally. This cooler is very bulky. Next time, I will make sure that the memories are as low as possible
