    The positives
    - good construction, high-quality exterior
    - beautiful and stylish

    The negatives
    - for its size, the compartments are few and NOT PRACTICAL
    - the main compartment is the biggest drawback, as it is NOT AT ALL PRACTICAL. In the "closed" configuration, it is very narrow (only enough space for folded pants and a shirt) and you have to open the internal zipper to fit another layer of clothing, still tightly packed. If you want the main compartment to be practical, you have to use the "open" configuration, which is achieved with a zipper that goes all around. The problem lies in the internal zipper, which is in completely the wrong position.
    - also, when it is in the closed configuration and "full" of clothes in the main compartment (January month: 1 pair of pants, 1 shirt, 2 medium-thickness wool sweaters, and 2 undershirts), it becomes very bulky and puts pressure on the laptop in the back compartment.
    - I would like the back straps to have a bit more padding. They are not bad, but some people may find them uncomfortable, especially if they are used to 5.11 backpacks. They are quite thin and look a bit fake (but they are not, they hold up).

I have a Samsonite laptop backpack that has 2/3 of the volume of this one, also expandable with a zipper, and it can fit almost the same things in its "open" configuration as this one does when it is "open"
