I got it for my girlfriend because she played the first one in the series and liked it.
I throw away trash, take a shower, make tea... "How are you doing in the game?"
"I haven't played for a quarter of an hour now, I'm watching an unskippable movie."
And she hasn't picked it up again.
I was playing it on my play2 and I was quite satisfied, so I decided to reminisce the old days but I couldn't handle it, I got bored quickly. However, it must be in my games collection, so I don't regret it!
The highly anticipated end of the Xehanort Saga. Simpler combat system compared to previous games in the series, even in critical mode you don't face any particular challenge (personally, this was a turn off for me). The story, although excessively complex, is quite good and I believe the conclusion was satisfying. Definitely worth it, especially at the moment I am writing this review, as the game is available in stores for 8€.
The years I waited for it were worth it and more. It awakens feelings of childhood memories, has very nostalgic music, and the characters are just as cleverly made as those from previous series. The only negative aspect is the in-game camera management, but it's not something that will pull you away. It's worth it!
I will say it as briefly as possible.
I am a fan since the first KH. The first two games are among my favorites, even though they have a somewhat strange story.
However, the problem with KH3 is the following:
10 minutes cutscene --> 10 minutes gameplay
15 minutes cutscene --> 10 minutes gameplay
30 minutes cutscene --> 10 minutes gameplay
And the battles are really ridiculous.
If you like something like this, then buy it. Personally, I like when the story unfolds with gameplay and small cutscenes. In KH, they are not cutscenes, they are short films. After 4 hours, I was really tired.
Other than that, the graphics are wonderful, and the music is excellent as always.
That's all.
For someone who hasn't played the previous ones like me, this particular game doesn't have much to offer, definitely overhyped by the fans but that's about it. In my opinion, it's not anything special, decent graphics in a cartoony style, the gameplay is a bit poor and confusing, the story is not clear. However, it's worth getting if you like the characters and worlds of Disney
Incredible story and you don't get bored easily. Fighting (the bad guys from the childhood shows we used to watch in the past) and also being able to handle and have by your side (the good guys from your childhood years) is THE BEST
In relation to 1 and 2, it's a potato. The story is okay, but the hype is through the roof and it makes you bored early on as it doesn't make sense for the late game
For so many years of anticipation, they could have done better.
The graphics are nice, but it was expected to be nice, it's Square Enix after all.
As for the main story, yes, it closed several plot holes but opened just as many, so we are definitely not talking about the end of the series but about Xehanort's saga.
The gameplay is good, but in some parts, the controls were terribly tiresome.
The walkthrough is very tiring in most parts.
The quests with the Gummi Ship are nice.
The world of Pirates of the Caribbean is fantastic (the most beautiful, actually).
It's awful that they included Frozen.
Overall, the hype from the world itself has elevated the game to where it is.
It's not bad, but honestly, they could have done much better than this.
Finally, the game we have been waiting for since 2004, fully renewed with many gameplay elements merged from all (except CoM) games of the series! Awesome story and exciting gameplay!
I evaluate the game as a fan of the series. A very full, well-crafted and well-crafted game. You may feel at some point that it doesn't fill you up and doesn't give you incentives to continue. I don't know if everyone will like the ending, but personally, the only thing that bothered me when I finished the game was that I didn't know if there will be more, only that. I enjoyed it but obviously, I want more.
Great duration along with videos that exceed 30 hours. Improved handling, upgraded powers, beautiful effects and graphics, unfortunately, it lacks that something that the old ones had. Currently, there is no critical mode and proud is ridiculous if not easy. It finishes a chapter and starts a new one. Let's hope it doesn't take another 12 years for the next one to come out.
13/6/2019:
Having played the critical mode, I must say that it is a very important addition to the game. You can transfer your keys to the new game plus, having a great advantage against the very powerful enemies. Waiting for the winter DLC to come out.
Having the Platinum Trophy for days now, I can say that it satisfied as a story, filling the void that had left us for so many years! We hope for a different future, perhaps with less Disney but more duration/end game staff!
This particular game is the finale of this part of the Kingdom Hearts story. As a fan, I was very excited about this title and I can confidently say that it provided me with great satisfaction and entertainment. However, after finishing the story (without spoiling anything), I started to realize the numerous plot holes that were presented in the game's story, as well as various cutscenes that ultimately lead nowhere. Additionally, the lack of many characteristic elements of the series disappointed me quite a bit, and the relative absence of new songs from the talented Yoko Shimomura left me with a small "void" in my heart (lel). However, I will give the game a 5 (since there is no 4.5 here!) because, having enough experience and love for this particular series, it provided me with hours of entertainment that I will not forget for a long time. Am I disappointed? Yes, a little. But this fact does not necessarily mean that I didn't like the game. Actually, I loved it. Would I recommend it to someone who has no previous involvement with the series? NO. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, NO. For anyone who has no familiarity with this series, the plot of this particular title will seem even more incomprehensible than it actually is. Final conclusion? Kingdom Hearts 2 may still be the best in the series, even 12 years later
I really cried, I waited so many years for the continuation of this epic and as soon as it came, I cried like a pregnant woman! It has everything, this game, the gameplay, the controls, the graphics, the Toy Story (music), the bosses! I'm looking forward to what's to come in the next 10 years!
After 13 years of waiting, Nomura delivered. Amazing technical and audio department, gameplay that reminds a lot of KH2FM+ with many additions, and a pretty good storyline that closes some loopholes that existed and creates excitement for the next game. Excellent!!!!
The game is perfect, just BE CAREFUL!!! For its own reasons, Skroutz has not raised prices from stores it collaborates with, which sell it for 48.50 - 55 euros (see you.gr, gamescom.gr, etc.), resulting in the minimum price of the product in the market being considered 69 euros, which is NOT true!!!
I pre-ordered it on 27/01 and there were at least 5 stores that were selling it for less than 50 euros. Now these prices have disappeared from Skroutz, but they still exist on the websites of the stores. An easy way to find such stores is to see which ones sell the 1.5 & 2.5 for ps4 cheaply.
The experienced ones know. After so many years, a return to the magical world of Disney and more! If you haven't played the previous ones or don't know the events of the previous games, don't get it because you won't understand anything! The game is magical! The fairytale has begun again!
I am so excited that after 14 years I finally have in my hands the third kingdom hearts, that I am writing my first review!
For the fans of the series, I won't mention it almost at all, you are already playing it.
First of all, the graphics are incredible, colorful landscapes and a lot of liveliness in every world. The music, as in every kh, is otherworldly, it is a huge experience on its own as it beautifully ties together the story and the adventure. The gameplay is very smooth and enjoyable, as they have added enough "extras" to keep it from becoming boring.
I highly recommend the game to everyone!
For those who want to truly understand the complex story that unfolds over the course of 9 games, it might not be the best starting point since it is the final chapter.
I believe that whoever gets this game will enjoy it regardless of their familiarity with the series and it will encourage them to play the rest of the series, as they are conveniently available in bundles for the PS4.
Well unfortunately this is a game that is 95% Disney, 1% Square Enix, it is tragically empty with videos that take up more time than the actual game. It was just another manipulation by Disney on subjects that, as it seems, they didn't find necessary to really deal with, and this is evident because it is a bag of beautiful potatoes with holes all around
