Wanbo Home Cinema projector X5 with Full HD (1080p) resolution and image diagonal ranging from 40 - 120". This size depends on the distance the projector is placed in relation to the projection surface. In this case, the projection distance ranges from 1.3 - 4m. The throw ratio indicates the width of the image produced by the projector when placed at a specific distance from the screen. For example, a throw ratio of 1.3:1 means that the image will be 1 meter wide when the projector is placed 1.3 meters away from the screen.

Projection Technology

The projection technology is the way the projector's lamp light is converted into an image to be projected through the lens onto a surface. This particular one is LCD technology and its lamp is LED type, which has a longer lifespan but lower brightness than regular lamps, with good color performance.

This technology gets its name from the initials of the words Liquid Crystal Display. The image is created by a liquid crystal panel which produces combinations of the three primary colors: red, green, blue. This results in very good color performance even in black.

Contrast Ratio

Brightness and contrast, or contrast ratio, are two very important features to consider, in combination with the projection distance and the maximum diagonal you want to achieve, when choosing a projector. This particular one has a brightness of 1100 Lumens and a contrast ratio of 3000:1.

Contrast indicates the difference between the darkest and the brightest part of an image and is an indicator of image quality. The image projected by a projector with a low contrast ratio appears washed out and flat. In contrast, with a high contrast ratio, it appears more realistic and with greater "depth".

Brightness indicates how much light the projector can deliver to a specific surface area. The general rule suggests that brighter projectors should be preferred in rooms with a lot of light or multiple light sources, while darker ones should be preferred in dark rooms.

Connectivity

It is equipped with Wi-Fi so you can connect wirelessly to your local network and watch an online program or download software updates. The wireless Bluetooth connection allows you to connect devices that have the same technology, such as your mobile phone. You can watch a video from your mobile phone or the movie you stored on your laptop with your friends by using the Miracast/Screen Mirroring function. This function allows you to wirelessly "mirror" the screen of your mobile phone or laptop to a larger screen.
