It is economical, reliable, accurate, and very lightweight.
I have had it for 3 years with terrible use, meaning hits, mud, water, etc.
(All OK so far)
It also fits nicely on people with a wrist circumference of 20cm +.
The downsides are that it requires care because it easily scratches the dial
and it is hard to read without using the light in low lighting.
COMBINES the large CLEAR display from PROTREK and CASE from G-SHOCK at a much lower price, of course without shock protection, with fewer settings and cheaper materials that are not the worst... with a small flick of the wrist I can immediately and very quickly see the time during any daily activity, in relatively large angles and in low light (with the regular dial, not with the black one which is more flashy but loses more in angles)... although it is a bit large at 50mm for my 17.5cm wrist it is comfortable, it is NOT heavy, a watch at 40mm with a steel case and bracelet weighs twice as much as this...
5 alarms are displayed on the screen for those that have been activated, they sound loudly but for 10 seconds I think they are mainly for reminders, one with repetition and all with the option of daily or specific day...
Countdown up to 24 hours...
Chronometer with split/lap options, 1st-2nd positions...
There is a second time, there the minutes change as if we have a 2nd watch...
The light intensity is good (I imagine I got a stock that hasn't been sitting in the store for years so still a strong battery) in some angles it dims a bit but does its job, duration at 1 - 1.5 seconds...
100m waterproof, showering, hand washing etc. it never comes off the wrist...
The strap width is 18mm to fit properly on the wrist but it protrudes another 4mm on each side...
The CR2032 battery should last many years (it is the large one that goes in calculators, blood sugar meters, scales, toys etc.) but even IF we are constantly playing with lighting, stopwatch, alarms and it drains faster, we can find it at the kiosk...
IF you want a simple watch with the criterion of just telling the time, this (AE-1500WH) the SWG100 the cheapest PRO, in analog the AQ-S800W (in the photo) surpass much more expensive ones with clear displays...
Photo with one of the first PROs that came out with very large numbers (and display) and one of the first with relatively large numbers for G-Shock (years ago both were very expensive) puts them to shame in numbers...
Note that in both expensive ones the strap needed to be changed at some point, just cheaper ones might need it faster
I have had it for two years now with daily use and very rough treatment on my part! It has endured a lot, it has been in the sea and pool several times and it hasn't suffered anything. I can't have an opinion on the alarms because I don't use them. Very good for the money and the battery still lasts!

I received it in October 2024.
I don't have anything new to say. Amazing watch - always for the money -
Its accuracy is expected - good, it's a battery watch -
I don't have much to say about its durability because I don't wear it all the time, since I have other watches, but I haven't faced any problems whenever I've worn it.
The only, let's say negative, is its bulk which is a bit of a hassle with motorcycle gloves, jacket sleeves, etc. during winter.
I repeat that it is HIGHLY recommended!

I received it the day before yesterday.
I don't have much to say. Others have written more detailed reviews than I have. We are really talking about a perfect everyday watch. You can wear it all day, you never take it off (Work, gym, shower, baths, etc.).
Large dial with large readable numbers (essential for me due to age and presbyopia). Large case size that fits perfectly on my wrist (wrist circumference ~20cm).
I was a bit worried about the bulk but in the end, it's just fine.
The alarms, timers, and others leave me a bit indifferent since I don't use them often (or even never, to be honest, it's easier to do them with a mobile phone) but you can find them in any watch of this type. Also, I can't comment on the accuracy but I won't go crazy about it either.
What "bothered" me a bit was the LED screen lighting which is not what I expected nor what I had seen in some photos and videos. It does what it needs to do, but that's it. I expected it to be more intense and clear.
So, 4/5 just for the screen lighting.
A watch that is HIGHLY recommended!
I will return in due time when I have more information regarding its durability and accuracy.
1-10-2024 - I bought it on 12-4-2023 for the price of €35.00 in black color. The watch works perfectly. The accuracy of the time is good, a little fast in winter, a little slow in summer, you have to be a bit ... to constantly change the time, minimal deviation. Large dial with big numbers (mainly for those who have vision problems). Brightness is very good in orange color, reverse countdown, five alarms (for those who take medication), truly waterproof (constantly in the sea with dives up to 3 meters which I have tested, it has fallen down 2-3 times without any issues). I was concerned before buying it because I read that the dial gets scratched, so I covered it with nail hardening varnish until it wore off and I didn't put it back on without the dial getting scratched. The only "problem" is the strap which is not silicone and broke a few days ago after 1.5 years, and I found a new one from Casio a few days ago for the price of €10.00. But I applied petroleum jelly on it twice to soften it before it broke. The battery is rated for 10 years, so it doesn't need sealing. For its price, very good
The AE-1500 module has gathered, in my opinion, the most useful functions that an ordinary mortal might need. A customizable timer for use in cooking, daily reminders, and the New Year's countdown. A super-duper stopwatch for all your measurements whether you are running or doing any kind of time trial with your friends. The top feature for me personally is the five date alarms that also function as reminders of all kinds, e.g., birthdays, anniversaries, daily wake-up calls. Dual-Time for those of us who have the quirk of wanting to know what time it is in some other part of the world or as a parallel clock for any kind of use. Titanically huge display of the time and date for instant reading even for presbyopes. The backlight, although a bit weak, manages to illuminate the huge digits of the time. At 35 euros, these features are a scandal as one finds them in more expensive Casio watches. Personally, the aesthetics of the watch satisfy me to a large extent. Being a holder of both the AE-1500WH-8BVEF and AE-1500WH-8B2, I dare say that the readability of this particular model is the best, day and night, but also the negative display on the aforementioned models is impressive due to the cool factor. I am providing clarity photos in low light from 10 centimeters straight and at an angle and from 50 centimeters. I must say that I tested the accuracy of the AE1500 with NTP time synchronization to the second and in 26 days it has +1 second approximately. Casio gives the timer chip Accuracy: ±30 seconds per month maximum-minimum respectively depending on the infinitesimal differences from module to module depending on extreme weather conditions like extreme heat or cold or if the watch has gotten wet. So don’t worry, it doesn’t need correction and synchronization every month unless you got the worst module that has been produced or if you are a precision freak.
The best, waterproof, durable, you can see the time very easily! But the price keeps going up! Be careful! It was bought for 25 euros about a year ago!
The strap is particularly annoying, stiff, and rigid that I personally doubt anyone will ever get used to. The night lighting (important for me) is incredibly poorly made, pale, and weak. There is no exaggeration in saying that a cheap Chinese one for 12 euros that I also have has infinitely more civilized and quality lighting. I applied for a return on Skroutz about 20 minutes after I received it, and after another 5 minutes I saw that the return was approved, which at least in my eyes gives particular value and trust in Skroutz. As a Casio, I assume it will be reliable, but how can one compromise when they are so disappointed as soon as they hold it in their hands?
Very nice, very good for the money, I got it for everyday use at work so I don't have to worry if it breaks or anything. I found the almost white (it's not pure white) more attractive, especially in relation to its screen which is black with white numbers and not the other way around. Waterproof without worry as I have seen so far. Very clear and nice is the orange light it has.
I ordered the negative display
the same day I sent it back... the time was not visible either during the day or at night!!!! stay away from the negative display. and I ordered the regular display.
the watch you should prefer is perfect it looks like a g-shock big dial if you have a problem with presbyopia like I do you are saved....
the glass is plastic not glass and scratches easily but
it doesn't stick out and is hard to hit since it is protected by the plastic frame I have already ordered a universal protective glass which I am waiting for I will keep you updated
Very good watch, beautiful and durable, just doesn't have a crystal and the glass gets scratched, but at this price there is no crystal. However, prefer the white panel and not the black one to see the time better, it's like night and day. Also, the black panel has a dark gray strap and case.
The worst thing... it loses 0.88 sec/day or 27-28 sec/month and essentially needs to be readjusted every month as it will have "drifted" significantly. Also, it is not even self-illuminating... tragic...
I wanted a simple everyday watch for work and for the sea so I wouldn't wear a Casio Edifice that I have for special occasions, also having a G-Shock which has run out of battery and has a thick battery. If it had the same waterproofing, it would be at the price of the specific one, I decided to buy it. It fits very well on the wrist and looks like a G-Shock, I think it will be worth the money.
After 2 weeks of use, I am very satisfied, nice light at night but quite short, strong alarm clock and it goes into the sea without any problem, just rinse it with water to remove the salt, it is super convenient
The best value for money you can find out there, especially at the 32€ I bought it. Exactly what I want! 5 alarms, with snooze, absolutely necessary for my needs, waterproof undisturbed in seas, waters, soaps etc, great battery life, very nice deep orange illumination and the known quality of casio. The only negatives are that 1) the date does not change to the European standard day-month and 2) it does not have the option like in most casio watches to change the duration of the illumination from 1.5 to 3 sec. I highly recommend it!!!

After many attempts to find a comfortable and nice watch for work and everyday use, I ended up with this one, it is worth its money 100%. In terms of value for money, it is the best solution even compared to more expensive watches.
Good watch for the money, discreet and accurate but after 2 years of continuous use the strap broke. The bad thing is that I can't find a replacement anywhere.
I have had it for six months and I use it daily at work, with hits and water...
It is the most honest for its price...
The only downside I can mention is in the display of the date, where it shows the month first.
All the previous reviews are true, with the addition that the strap is very comfortable and suitable for larger wrists (up to 21.5 centimeters). It is indeed recommended for people with presbyopia. The beige color of the sand with the half black case makes it incredibly beautiful and reduces its bulkiness, because you can't call it a small watch! Well done, CASIO.
I have it for 1 month depending on what everyone is looking for in a watch... for me, for what I was asking for, it is excellent. I wanted it to be lightweight and easy to read. For 35 euros, simply wonderful...
If you are looking for a Rolex for 35 euros, it's a shame to write this for some comments that think they are getting a Rolex.... now for me, it is one of the best and best-selling Casio watches at this price, very nice large readable screen suitable for people with vision problems. The watch has a 10-year battery, is 100 meters waterproof, has alarms, a stopwatch, a countdown timer, a second time zone, and the quality of Casio. Although the negative is that the screen is also available in positive for those who want it, and due to its size, it is quite clear with a strong LED illuminator. Simply perfect, I recommend it to you..... just be a little careful with hits, the screen scratches easily due to its size...
I bought it for everyday use, and it's just what I needed. The only downside might be the duration of the lighting, which is only useful for seeing the time. If you want to set an alarm, etc., it's impossible
