excellent lighting and very good beam, but over time one of the 2 lost half of its brightness and also has some flickering, so it's getting ready for the road. I hope it only happened to me, if this hadn't happened I would buy it again
The lighting is good, the color is cool white. I would like a little more distance than it has. Other than that, easy installation on the C4 Citroen. Now how long they will last will show.
They are quite brighter than the standard ones that the car had (Astra K). They don't flicker, but it shows a CAN BUS indication for a bulb problem.
As beautiful as the lamp was, it disappointed me. It burned out in 7 months. I went for a Wurth brand with a written 2-year warranty. And to be honest, they seemed a bit better.
Super easy installation in reflector headlight. Same body as halogen. The lumens needed to not blind everyone. Installed in Citroen c4 cactus 2018, without any error on the dashboard. After adjustment by a professional and lowering the beam by 1, they do not blind at all and provide quite good light and perfect color. Time will tell their durability.
For their price, they are fair, better visibility than conventional bulbs. Time will show their durability.
I have been using them for 6 months in a 2018 Hyundai Tucson on the low beam, clearly they have better lighting than halogens, which is why we change them after all, so far so good. They do not have a long lifespan, burned out after 6 months with minimal use and I am in search of another bulb. Also, when I turn on the lights for a few seconds, it gives me an error on the dashboard.
They improved the field of vision to a greater extent than the halogens I had and they are not bothersome. In moderate rain, I also had no difficulty. Perhaps the comments saying they lack performance refer to very heavy rainfall. Time will tell.
They have been installed in a Peugeot 208 2017 without any problems.
They do not throw an error, only a small flickering and that for a few seconds.
Now, as for how long they will last, time will tell...
They have been installed in the high beam. They were chosen for their shape to fit in the headlight without modifications. Good price and brand name. Very bright light with a nice cool output. No problems in 3 months. I will return if there is an issue.
edit: Almost 6 months now. They continue to work normally in the high beam. Occasionally, it throws an error on the car's dashboard for a burned one or even two bulbs, but they work fine.
After 6 months with not many hours of use, it started to shake and after a while, one of the two stopped turning on
Clearly the best on the large scale, it makes night into day. On the medium setting, I can say that there is an improvement compared to regular incandescent bulbs, better beam and better lighting, but the difference, although noticeable, is not so great that I would say wow as well. I am satisfied and will buy them again for the other lantern.
Retrofit on Nissan Qashqai J10 (pre-facelift with reflectors) with the main aim of upgrading the lighting, while ensuring the safety of oncoming (or preceding) drivers is not affected.
In practice, the difference is noticeable (without turning night into day), the beam is at the same refractive levels as before (which is why it does not blind oncoming drivers) and at the same height. I am always referring to this specific car and type of headlight.
For the cost, a very good upgrade; I will also install them in the high beams, and it remains to be seen how long they will last.
I installed them in a 2018 Ceed. On the positive side, due to their size, they are very easy to install, like a simple H7 bulb. Their light is very beautiful. However, their performance is mediocre; I definitely expected something better. Especially in the rain, which I happened to encounter, at night on a rural road, it was on the edge of dangerous. Fortunately, I had the factory ones on high beam... they also throw an error but it doesn't stay, and they work normally. I definitely expected something more.
Installed in clio 4, easy application, nice lighting sufficient to see much better than halogen but not excessive to bother other drivers, internally they have a fan not just passive cooling as I thought before buying
The bulbs (H7) were installed on the Opel Corsa D (2007) with reflector headlights very easily and directly without the need for adapters, as they are exactly the same size as the halogen bulbs. Additionally, they do not produce any error on the dashboard of this specific car. The difference in light is noticeable, mainly due to the white color, but they also have more intensity. They are recommended for an upgrade that does not require much research and hassle.
seat ibiza 2012...fantastic led bulbs, very easy to install on the middle step, strong light that spreads evenly and has a nice color. I will buy these led bulbs again for the large step so I can work on it because now I don't use it at all since the middle leds cover it! It's not canbus so it gives me an error but it's okay, it's a habit! Overall, they are worth 50 euros...bravo to Philips!!!
Very good, they fit in a Peugeot 308 mk2 2021 without canbus adapters and work perfectly, no errors or flickering.
05/04/2024: I bought these specific bulbs in H18 for the middle beam, in a FORD ECOSPORT.
We're talking about no comparison to halogens.
Finally, I can see well at night without having to use the high beam intensively.
Super lighting.
Update 28/11/2024: They tell you to get Phillips later, but those who bought Phillips made it like their faces.
The bulbs started acting up on me.
Update 29/11/2024: I went to the store where I bought them. They told me that since they are under warranty, I need to send an email to Phillips to have the bulbs sent for inspection and then after a week, I would receive new ones for free. So I won’t have bulbs for a week?
Update 21/12/2024: After sending an email to Philips, I see that they are looking for excuses to avoid the free replacement as stated in the warranty. I am already regretting the money I spent.
Usually when you change bulbs from incandescent to LED, something will go wrong, just to make your life a little more exciting. However, this bulb is a completely boring product, in the best possible way.
Immediate and easy installation with the ability to rotate 90 degrees so that they can better fit the reflectors of the headlights with the rotation. A big advantage is that it is not larger than a regular incandescent bulb.
Basically, it's just fine, so much so that I can't find a way to make my review boring.
Oh! I also put it in the diagonal lights of the Golf mk7 and in a strange but unexpectedly happy way, the car did not complain about this change with any warning or error.
It does not produce errors in VW, intensity is almost similar to halogens, I wanted them a little more "blue".
Edit: it does produce an error, however they light up normally
In the Hyundai i20, the lighting is strong and has a nice color. In terms of durability, it remains to be seen, but the only negative aspect I find is that the lighting flickers a little when you turn on the flashers
I installed them on a fiesta mk8 (2018). They are the only branded ones that fit without adapters, in the size of the regular bulb. They are truly plug and play. I highly recommend them. Excellent product. They do not have a fan, so they may have a shorter lifespan than others. Durability over time remains to be proven. They are worth their money.
Finally, a 1:1 size from a big company.
Installation is very easy.
Perfect color.
I will also buy for the big staircase.
Buy with closed eyes
Placed on a fiesta mk7 with projector headlights. Their performance is quite good and the light diffusion (due to the projectors) has very good cut off lines and slightly better peripheral light intensity, as well as slightly higher overall intensity without becoming bothersome to oncoming traffic! The fact that the design of the bulb mimics that of halogen is the best thing for those who have space constraints and do not want to "alter" the headlight to fit the bulb. The downside, of course, is that due to the compact design, it affects the lifespan (compared to normal LEDs) and the most significant negative is that in severe weather conditions such as heavy rainfall and fog, the temperature of the light is not ideal, and this applies to all LEDs compared to halogen.
I really wonder how I was driving before I installed these bulbs! Very nice light diffusion, clean white color, and above all, they don't bother the oncoming drivers. They were installed in a Peugeot 206
Happy New Year to everyone.
So, I bought these specific Philips LED bulbs and installed them in a BMW e46, everything went perfectly, easy installation as mentioned, and it didn't cause any issues with the dashboard for a burned-out bulb because in essence, it doesn't require a can bus, it fits normally in H7 without any problems, like installing a halogen bulb.
And their brightness is quite strong compared to the regular halogen bulbs that the same company has, it's incomparable!
They were installed on a Hyundai Tucson in a projector headlight type...
excellent lighting and color... completely satisfied with both the price and performance... as for their durability over time, I don't have an opinion yet...
Finally, Philips has released what it was missing, a plug n play LED bulb exactly the size of conventional incandescent bulbs that fit in any type of headlight. Very good brightness in pure white, with nice cut off lines (placed in projectors) and very easy installation. The only negative is that there is a very small dark spot due to the fact that the LED chips are not exactly on the surface of the bulb but slightly "embedded" inward, which is only noticeable when you are very close to a wall (in reflectors, I don't think it will be noticeable due to light diffusion). It is important if the car where it will be installed has a can bus, an adapter is needed to avoid errors. I don't have an opinion on the durability because I have been using them for 1 month.
