I use it in the summer because it is gentle for everyday use. I don't feel my hair soft, they don't easily detangle, nor do they shine as usual. It has a strong smell like olive oil (something I don't particularly like), but because it is gentle on the skin and I shower daily in the summer, I continue to use it since I always tie my hair up anyway.
