It is powerful. Its beam reaches far. Its handling is easily understandable and there are several modes of operation. In my opinion, for what you give, you get a lot.

a very good flashlight with the quality of nitecore, tested so far at night while running (mountain) in closed trails, it provides you with the light you need and more, and it didn't bother me in the one and a half hours I wore it... I will return to test it on other terrains

1st update on the use of this headlamp during an all-night rescue in a semi-mountainous area (Silver Alert/missing elderly person)

• there are reflective details on the wide strap
• very easy adjustment of the strap on the head, without it slipping during use!
• very good fit on the head (I wore it over a beanie)
• the 1st setting is the "least" powerful, and in my opinion, it was extremely bright!!
• the second setting, which is the "powerful" one, is blinding at close range, meaning you can dazzle someone and they can't handle it.
• I like the LED that has a setting for steady and flashing, I find it useful in cases where you might have a flashlight in hand, e.g., team separation with red or additional intense discretion at night. It has many uses, especially for rescuers and not just that.
• the flashlight comes with 3 AAA batteries, without any other battery; here the box shows that it also accepts some other type of rechargeable battery?? that you have to buy! So it is not rechargeable unless you do it yourself!

I will return if I find any more gadgets from future rescues

Based on its cost, it is a very honest flashlight. I used it in a night race in the mountains and it was sufficient. I can't say it made night into day, but I didn't encounter any problems. Also, the strap is very high quality and the batteries change easily. Finally, the angles that give it tilt are stable; where you adjust it, it stays.

In the description, it says that it is rechargeable, but it is NOT!
While it takes 3 AAA batteries, they run out very quickly.
In the instructions, they try to save it by saying that you can recharge the batteries, but with the same logic, anything that operates on batteries is rechargeable.
Bad purchase, not worth its money.
