The worst thing I have bought. Disconnects every minute and after a week it went off. Waste of money. Stay away!
It worked immediately on Windows 10. The next day, disconnections started until the PC no longer recognized it as a device. It was then tested on a second PC, also with Windows 10, which did not recognize it either. A refund was issued by the store.
It was placed on the stairs, with a stable PC on the ground floor and the modem on the upper floor. I am impressed by how fast and good my internet is. It's been about 6 months now, without losses and interruptions.
From the second day, it kept disconnecting continuously and after 6 months it went off. Not even worth the effort to send it back.
I got it and I was saved from disconnections!! I've had it for about 2 months and I use it to connect to the PC I work on and it hasn't disconnected even once. The only downside is that it doesn't have Bluetooth, but that's okay.
The installation was also very easy on Windows 11, it was just plug and play.
I have Windows 11 on my PC. I connected it with USB and it worked immediately; it has good range and doesn't heat up. For Windows 10 and below, there will be issues
It catches Max the speed of my router, but sometimes it does strange things. For some reason, it can't read its software, so sometimes inexplicably it kicks me out for half a minute and then reconnects by itself. The cheap tp-link I had before this one didn't catch more than 50 mbps, but it never kicked me out even once in almost 10 years of service
It disconnected many times and after 7 months it stopped working. Wasted money.
It was not plug and play on my computer as it couldn't find the 5G networks. I looked into it and with a specific setting it worked as it should. Very good product overall and with great range
It has been working without problems/interruptions for 3 months. Speed is satisfactory (I don't need 867Mbps, 100-150 is enough for me). I had a cheaper product from the same company, but it had some interruptions from the moment I installed it.
Connected to a Linux machine (Debian) and has excellent connectivity. It is in a room with around 20 devices connected via Wi-Fi on 2.4 and 5 GHz. The connection speed on the internal network ranges between 630-720 mbps at a distance of 4 meters from the access point. Ignore the CD with the drivers.
WARNING: if your device already has its own Wi-Fi from the motherboard, find a way through the operating system to disable it.
After I installed it, I pressed the button on the LAN modem as the instructions dictate, and it started working normally! At five meters, it works perfectly (gaming & youtube runs smoothly). I even tested it at a distance of 20 meters with two walls in between, and it still worked but to a more limited extent.
It refuses to work on the device I want. I install it and it stops recognizing it upon reboot. The old archer t3u still works plug'n play with very very few disconnections. I want to emphasize that they gave me the v3 while it said v1
12.1 mb/s stable on a 100 Mbps connection at 10 meters distance from the router and 2 walls in between, you could say it's vfm at 26 euros. No disconnections. Incredibly satisfied. Windows 11 operating system.
Excellent. It catches full signal from a distance of 9-10 meters with 2 walls in between. It catches 99 on a 100-line. Plug and play on Windows 11. Clearly worth the money. Huge difference in ping, latency, and packet losses compared to my previous one.
So I bought the TP-LINK Archer T4U v1 from Cosmo-market and they sent me the V3 (I realized this almost a month later when I formatted and downloaded the drivers for the V1 and it didn't read them while the V3 read them immediately...). So the V3 has some issues with the 5ghz that it doesn't detect quickly every time I turn on the computer; I have to switch the wifi to 2.4 to read the 2.4 and then switch it to 5 and if it reads the 5... The freezes are minimal, I wish I had the V1 which people say better things about than the V3...
*** UPDATE *** Now to read the 5ghz it drives me crazy... Stay away from the V3...
Very good! Plug & play condition (on Windows 10).
For ranges, I can't say anything, since the devices that are connected are close and all have full lines...
The best for the money. Connected immediately, without even installing the drivers since my PC doesn't have a CD drive.
It reaches 100% of the signal at 220mbps that I have. It doesn't disconnect and generally works perfectly.
Tip: At first, it couldn't find the 5G wifi. Eventually, the problem was in the channel that was set by the modem's panel and not the adapter. Once I changed it, it found it normally.
Don't have ethernet on your PC? Just plug in this and a WiFi extender and you're good to go, the other solution is powerline
Extremely simple to use, it is plug and play. I use it with Windows 10 and easily achieve speeds of 300 Mbps. Highly recommended.
Edit 5/9 2024
Now it is no longer recognized by the PC at 5GHz, only at 2.4.
I put it on a 12-year-old laptop and the internet came alive.
The laptop of course doesn't have USB3 but it runs perfectly.
I didn't find any difference with the lid open or closed.
Whether in the bedroom, living room, or upstairs, the signal is excellent.
I don't even know what it does.
The connection is very easy. It worked in 2 minutes.
One negative aspect might be its size.
It is very big and takes up a lot of space. You lose the adjacent USB port.
It is automatically installed on Windows 10 and, just like the installation, I have never had a problem. It feels like I have Ethernet connected to it, I have connected it to USB 2.
I have had it for about 6 months, no disconnections, no problems.

Works great, be sure to plug it on a USB 3.0+ port to make 5ghz work.
