I bought it 2 years ago for 1000 euros. The construction seems quite good. The internal unit does not creak, its plastics are of good quality. As for its cooling performance, it is very efficient, it cools 75 square meters comfortably in half an hour on the medium setting. It is also efficient in heating. It does not make any noise on the low and medium speeds, neither the internal unit nor the external one, above that, it is audible at reasonable levels. I think it is a good purchase.
