BRITA Smart Light

The smart sensor not only measures the time since the last water filter replacement but also records the volume of filtered water. Before using the jug for the first time (and after each time you change the water filter), press the BRITA Smart Light reset button for about 5 – 10 seconds until the LED indicator flashes green three times.

With a capacity of 2500ml, this glass jug provides ample space to store and serve your filtered water. The filtered water volume of 1.5L allows you to enjoy a significant amount of purified water at any time, making it ideal for households, offices, or even social gatherings.

The new top-tier – upgraded German water filter replacement for Brita Maxtra jugs combines the filtration technologies of the Maxtra (+) Plus, Pure performance, and Hard Water Expert models, offering a comprehensive water filtration and softening result.

The new version offers 50 additional liters of filtration compared to the old model (change every 4 weeks or 150 liters) and features four-stage filtration.

  • The water first enters the filter through an ultra-fine mesh where it collects coarse particles – sediments such as dirt, mud, stones, rust, etc.
  • Next, the water passes through a coconut shell activated carbon filter which reduces chlorine, filters substances that affect the water's taste, and removes traces of impurities such as certain herbicides, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals.

    - durability over time due to very thin glass of the pitcher (with a sudden movement it can break, especially the bottom, which would be good to have a silicone protector, for example. This needs to be addressed! I made a workaround: I put a rubber "cap" made of silicone on the bottom))) but when you pay €50 you expect them to have thought of it themselves.
    If "BPA free" is important for some, it is not mentioned anywhere
