  Morakniv Kansbol. The companion of Garberg, as I say, because when you have both on your excursions, you have covered all your needs.   Very good Swedish-made knife for outdoor excursions. It is not heavy duty, like the Garberg (batoning, etc.), but it covers most needs. I consider the Kansbol to be more value for money in general compared to the Garberg, which is twice the price and I also have. It comes sharpened and ready to use.

  Very good all-around knife. Lightweight, with a thin blade in the front, ideal for food preparation, and thicker in the back for other tasks. It is not suitable for heavy use like batoning due to the thin blade (for that, I have the Garberg). It will cover 95% of the needs of those involved in wilderness survival. It is a bit difficult to sharpen and requires knowledge and good sharpening stones.

  In this price range (37 euros) I didn't expect much, but I was proven wrong.
  And mind you, the Kansbol is one of Mora's expensive knives.

  - The blade has a thicker edge near the handle, making it suitable for splitting wood and also for food preparation
