  A noteworthy device with a suitable size (I think). The buttons it has did not help me. The software is different from what we are used to (android - ios) and can seem cumbersome. However, it is absolutely honest and relatively fast, as long as you make your registrations in the various required (adobe id, pocketbook cloud, etc.). There are few free books available, and the library has some for borrowing. It works well only with epub. For simple pdfs (text only - simple page layout), you won't encounter many problems.

  The 6 inches are not the best for PDF files, but for EPUB and (non-Amazon) MOBI, the PocketBook Verse is perfect. I have loaded it with hundreds of books, mainly in English but also in Greek, the latest purchased from Patakis, Metaichmio, Psychogios, etc., with Adobe DRM protection. [Note: E-books that do not have DRM protection can be sent via email, as attachments, to the personal email address of our device (something like *****@pbsync.com). If they have DRM protection, then we send the acsm link of the book as an attachment — the device will download the book and read it without any problem.] Also, the PB Verse is compatible with the (unfortunately not particularly rich) lending e-reader of the National Library. It is lightweight and convenient, with a large capacity, so I always have it with me to read at every opportunity. It connects to the internet via Wi-Fi, but of course, the browser is slow. Although it has a touchscreen, I find the special buttons it also has much more convenient for turning pages. Reading becomes even more comfortable with the screen light ON, even when the surrounding area is not dark, adjusting the intensity and — very importantly! — the "temperature" of the light. The battery is almost inexhaustible. As for cases/stands, after many trials and expenses, I ended up with the extremely user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing "ZhaoCo 6 inch Universal Removable Case for eReader" which I found on Amazon DE for €11 + €7 shipping.

  Very comfortable reading, very good battery life. Finally, I can read whenever I want without bothering anyone and comfortably. In some screen transitions, like selecting a book, etc., there is a delay of a few seconds, but it's tolerable. The size of the screen is just right... A year and more later, I have enjoyed it so much. Time savings, money savings, comfort, autonomy. Get it with your eyes closed.
