2024-11-27Store representativeIt lasted 5.5 years with 3 complete discharges. The corresponding Bosch ones last only 3 years. The battery guys say they are Chinese and made in the same factory as Bosch. My previous battery had a 1-year warranty, and the new one I got from another place has a 2-year warranty. The Yuasa I bought, which discharged 3 times, got destroyed and was more expensive. I have the impression that if I had bought the more expensive series, it would have lasted 1 year longer with more power in the starter.

Did you find this review helpful?Before I installed it in my car for about a month, the needle was fluctuating at low RPMs, causing it to shake and appear clogged; I had fluctuations at idle. I thought I had a problem with the RPM sensor, but the garage told me everything was fine. As soon as I changed the battery, everything disappeared. The car behaves smoothly and with a sense of rejuvenation. One year warranty on the new Varta battery, and time will tell how long it will last. The previous one lasted about 6-7 years.

It was installed in a Corsa D (1.4) on 12/11/2016 where it replaced the factory VARTA that it had, which lasted 8 years and left me yesterday, that is after 7 years and 9 months!
The only downside is that it "died" completely suddenly and showed no signs that it was at the end of its life. Probably due to the excessive heat of the summer? I don't know. Anyway, the battery after a check was extremely hot to the point that you couldn't touch it and was emitting steam from a little hole it had.
⚠️ Note: The sticker that appears to be peeling off, I peeled it off!

By far the best aftermarket battery I have had to date (except for one traditional liquid cell MITSUBA or PAK for those who remember them). Even on cold days, it doesn't seem to struggle. The car starts immediately.

And when I start it after 1 or 2 months, without disconnecting the terminals, it starts normally. The day before yesterday, I took it out to charge it and it was like charging a new battery. It was 12.7V and at the end of the charging (after reaching 13.6V), it dropped to 12.9V and stayed there. It will definitely last for at least 3 years
