This review is about the power (va): 3000 VA

I was looking for a line interactive UPS from 2 to 3 kVA to protect the control systems of a heating installation (electronics, pumps, sensors, etc.). I had a cheap 2 kVA UPS from a well-known store before, but it had to be dismantled to change the batteries and it "died" after a few years. After this bad experience, I decided to switch to a well-known brand for this UPS. Initially, I was considering APC or Eaton, but after doing enough research, I decided to try this Legrand model because of its reputation, good features, easy battery replacement, and the excellent price I found. With experience in various UPS systems (mainly APC) for over 30 years, I can say that it seems very good to me. It is really well-built, with metal everywhere and heavy subsystems (in addition to the battery weight). Its screen provides all the necessary information, although it could be better. The main requirements were for the UPS to have Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) and easy battery replacement. This particular model is very good in both of these aspects. The AVR works well (measured with a current meter) and the batteries are behind a door on the front that opens easily and are placed on a tray. You can easily pull them out and replace them without opening the main body of the UPS (although it is not hot-pluggable, of course). The UPS makes a buzzing noise when the AVR is working, but it is not very annoying (although not suitable for a bedroom). The only problem I found was that it was factory-set for an input voltage of 230 V, while the voltage in my area is 220 V, resulting in frequent AVR operation and possible reduction in lifespan. However, an easy change in the corresponding dip switches on the back of the unit solved this issue. However, there should obviously not be such a wrong setting from the distributor. Overall, it seems to me that they are currently offering this model at a very good price, over 200 euros less than what Amazon.de offers and the lowest in its class among reputable UPS brands. I think it is a very good UPS for this price.
[Update] Recently, I purchased a power consumption meter for another project. However, when I connected it to the input of the UPS, I noticed that it consumes around 40W, even with zero load. Obviously, it does not have a separate power supply for battery charging, which is why I am deducting one star.
