I bought this model after extensive research. Of course, I read reviews on Skroutz and other pages, but mainly I looked into pages that test robot vacuums with a scientific approach so that their results are comparable from one model to another. I was between this one and the S8 MaxV, which essentially has the same features but quite a difference in price. After the research, the only weakness this specific model has is in obstacle detection, as the sensor for this is only light-based, while the S8 has an additional sensor that makes it more detailed in detecting objects. Also, the dual brush of the S8 does not have any practical difference in the cleaning result other than not allowing long hairs to settle on them. We are two people with long hair at home, and there is no problem; even the old cheap Lenovo robot vacuum didn't have one! Since it was something that personally didn't concern me, I proceeded with the purchase of the Q Revo.
Now let's talk about how the vacuum works. To say it from the start, I haven't found any negatives as it has solved my problems and I have saved a lot of time per week, since we have a dog with medium hair that fills the space within a day, and we vacuum every day. The only, let's say, more difficult part is its programming, but it is fully customizable.
If, like us, you have an issue with pet hair, then you need to schedule a routine where the vacuum will clean in zones that you will create so that it can return to empty its bin (it has a small capacity, as is logical), clean the mopping pads, and then continue with the next zone. If you choose to clean the whole house or specific rooms, then it will return to the base every time it finishes a room. I mention these as tips so you don't have to search too much depending on what use you will make.
The vacuum leaves nothing behind, neither hair, dust, nor dirt, nothing. The mop works wonderfully, and I didn't expect such a good result from a robot vacuum. I have added a minimal amount of all-purpose cleaning liquid (1/3 from the cap) and a little vinegar to the clean water bin to clean properly.
According to the instructions and the pages that do thorough reviews, it does not replace the sweeping and mopping that someone does on their own. It is for effective maintenance, but now I vacuum and mop once a week instead of doing it every day for vacuuming and every two days for mopping. Additionally, when I mop, I see that the water does not get dirty like before, so it indeed does the job.
One piece of advice because I read comments about odors, etc., read the instructions. Every device needs maintenance; you should regularly wash the tray at the base where it cleans the mopping pads. I also wash the dirty water bin when it fills up, as well as the pads from time to time, and I clean the vacuum brush from hair (about once a week, if that). It has never emitted a bad smell. Furthermore, robot vacuums are not meant for cleaning when liquids have been spilled or when there are large impurities; I read somewhere that someone complained that it didn't clean dog waste... which is logical. Every object has a specific use, and within that framework, it works correctly, so think about what it can do and what use you intend for it.
TL;DR: The vacuum is capable and does what it promises. It has solved our problems and we have saved a lot of time in the daily maintenance of the house. We have scheduled it for daily vacuuming and mopping, which take a total of 45 minutes for the areas we have set (around 30 sq.m.), it doesn't make noise and leaves the floor shiny!
I believe it is one of the best choices, even though it belongs to the high mid-range. It will definitely meet the needs of most, if not all.
I hope I helped with my review!
Edit: For those who are concerned about spare parts (filters, brushes, etc.), you can easily and cheaply buy them from Ali. Roborock does not have official representation in Greece, so unfortunately, it's a one-way street.
