  The first one I received had some vertical lines like shadows in the very bright colors, I informed the store directly the next day and they replaced it for me. I use it for games and movies. It has amazing colors, very good contrast, incredible blacks, the menu is fast, and very good viewing angles. The sound is mediocre to bad, but I don't care as it is connected to a large amplifier and big bookshelf speakers; I recommend a soundbar if you don't have that option, because in movies the TV's small speakers have neither bass nor clarity. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone; it's an amazing television

  You get what you pay for.. It doesn't have perfect colors, you will have to go in and search for what you want to customize it yourself. It takes a very long time to turn on, on average it takes 25 seconds. Also, the one and only USB port broke in less than a year (very disappointing) and another negative is that sometimes when I turn on the TV there is no sound and I have to turn it off and on again. All of this, consider it takes 1 minute based on the times I gave you. The conclusions are yours, if I were to spend that much money again, I wouldn't choose this one, I would go to another brand.

  Purchased during the Black Friday period for 750 euros. First, let's talk about its specifications on paper.. Full array LED, mini LED, and 120Hz panel. To find a comparable one among the "well-known" brands, you had to go for 1000 to 1100 euros for LG and Samsung and 1300 for Sony. So, regarding its price, it is definitely value for money. From what I understand, TCL and Hisense are trying to compete with the established Korean and Japanese brands by offering TVs with high specifications at significantly lower prices. Now, in real use. Its blacks are truly black; I struggle to see a difference from my friend's OLED. The colors are indeed very vivid, and its brightness is such that I often have to keep it at 50-60. My usage is 90% streaming and movies from a computer via HDMI or with an external hard drive from USB, and 10% gaming. Regarding the above, I can genuinely say that it is ALMOST excellent, and I will elaborate on the "almost" below. I have enjoyed 4K resolution in series and movies undoubtedly. And for gaming, I don't even have a console or computer that can play 4K at 120Hz, but with the PS4, everything I've played has left me extremely satisfied. I don't watch Greek channels or sports, so I have no opinion on those. Now for the negatives.. There is a widespread and much-discussed issue with TCL on foreign-language forums regarding motion handling. In Greek, the movement of the image. There, the TV loses quite a bit. In fast action scenes and panning shots, I found it quite difficult to follow because everything became a blur. I searched all the settings related to motion at various stages, but none resolved the issue.. On the contrary, if you set the judder reduction to a high scale, the soap opera effect appears, which definitely ruins the feel of a movie. After a lot of searching, I found that there are two new firmware updates, v412 and v420, which improve things. The problem is that TCL, in its infinite wisdom, has decided to send the update to certain European countries and not others. I had to change the country to Italy to download v412, which I eventually had to download from a forum because the process from Wi-Fi was ENDLESS. And I'm not exaggerating; it took an entire afternoon and had downloaded 5% of a 1.9GB update. Unacceptable. In the end, with the update that I had to search for, download onto a USB stick, and then onto the TV, it somewhat fixed the problem but did not eliminate it. Something I consider tragic, as I have not faced such an issue with so many cheap TVs over the years. To continue the review, the TV comes with Google TV, which does not lag. However, the internet connection is lost when you turn off the TV and turn it back on, resulting in needing a restart for Netflix to work. I do not face this issue with Disney Plus, which is not particularly significant, but it still exists. To summarize and conclude, the TV has amazing colors, resolution, contrast, blacks, but it also has a major issue with motion handling, something I did not expect in 2024, and which apparently is due to TCL's software that does not update itself but requires you to sit and search, which is a challenge for someone who has no idea about these things. There are also minor issues with the internet connection. I would definitely recommend it, but it seems that TCL still has some time ahead of it before being considered a reliable company.   Purchase 11/21/2024 replaced a F&U 43" television. The TCL is of higher quality but also more expensive. The picture is slightly better on Greek channels but very good in gaming mode (ps5) with many improvements. The sound is good (perfect with a soundbar) the external plastics are good with a sturdy base. The menu is good, it is google tv android 12 and the remote control is good (appearance feel) and with quick command, 4 HDMI 2.1 (two 4K 120 hz and two others 4K 60 hz one eARC/ARC). The price is 530 euros. I have it and it has been working for 3 days with the aim of not turning off for 7 days which is the warranty for immediate replacement from the store. The 4 stars are for durability over time.......... 12/2/2024 everything is fine

After several days of searching, it plays amazing 4k and 1080p, less well at lower resolutions. If you want to get a TV that works perfectly out of the box, it's better to try another one.   Very good television for its price, 4k 144hz QLED HDR10+ and so on. I can't say it has bad resolution, QLED loses quite a bit compared to OLED. It is MINI LED but it's not incredibly sharp, yes it has a lot for its price but I expected a slightly better picture. I don't know if I would buy it again after my experience with it, maybe I would save a bit more to go for OLED to avoid the problems with the grays. If you can't spend more than 600 euros, it's a one-way street, I just expected more. Speakers are well below average, yes they are very loud but poor quality. I play exclusively games, I've never watched television, with 14600k and 4070 I play everything on ultra and have a great time but... That's it.

  I have had this TV for 2 months.
  I am completely satisfied, I recommend it especially to gamers and especially to those who have the latest generation Xbox as it supports Dolby Atmos/Vision, ALLM, AMD Freesync Premium, 120Hz VRR.

  I also really like the stand that is in the middle instead of on the edges, and that has Google Assistant without pressing any button on the keyboard, you just say hey google and the TV listens to you. If you connect a camera with USB you can also make video calls through Google Meet.

  Completely satisfied from every aspect. I have the 65" version for six months now. Knowing this specific TV, and even if it had double the price, I would still buy it. The picture quality is exceptional, if you adjust it correctly. The whites, blacks, colors, brightness, contrast, everything gets a perfect 10 for an LCD LED TV. It has Android software, which is a big plus for me, and its speed in everything is very fast. I have connected a high-end gaming PC and it plays games in 4k 120Hz HDR10. Also, as a very pleasant surprise, the pixel response times are exceptional. Doing the UFO Ghosting Test, the response is excellent. I don't know the exact GtG response time, but for my computer, I have an LG IPS monitor with 1ms GtG and they seem the same to me. Clearly much better pixel response times than the previous monitor I had, which was VA with 1ms MPRT - 4ms GtG. From every perspective, it is worth it for me, even the last euro.

  I will not talk about the picture and other features which are relatively good for the price of the TV. The TV started lagging after 5 months. Something is wrong with its software and it freezes incredibly. You give a command and it takes more than 20 seconds to respond. I tried to contact TCL's customer service for further actions but unfortunately, no one has responded after a month... so don't expect any after-sales support.

  P.S.: To achieve good picture quality and eliminate all distortions and blurriness, you need to invest a lot of time and disable all the image aids that are supposed to help.

  I bought the TV about a month ago, the 55-inch one (if I had the extra 200, I would have bought the 65-inch one, but the difference is small). So, regarding the TV, for a non-OLED one, it is excellent. The menu is fast (a bit annoying that it doesn't close and keeps the apps standby, they only close with a restart). It took a bit of tweaking with the colors and settings, but the result is excellent. The build quality is good, the stand is great, although I have it on the wall because I have a small child. It has great compatibility with the PS5 (that was the main reason I bought it). I got it for 699 from a well-known store. For this price, I highly recommend it, there is hardly any competition at this price range, with these inches and these technologies. (For enthusiasts with special technologies, it reaches 240 fps in 1080p Warzone, etc. if you connect it to a computer). If the buyer wants it purely for gaming, they should go for the 55-inch because it has less lag (this applies to all screens regardless of the brand). If it's for movies and streaming and the space allows it, go for the 65-inch because it has more dimming zones. But overall, I am very satisfied so far. I will come back later with photos

  I have the 50" here for a month now... I wish I had space to get the bigger one!! Tremendous television.. with many picture and sound options. Very good blacks and colors!! It needs adjustments to suit everyone's taste. It will not disappoint you at all!! The build quality is not the best but tcl has taken care so that it doesn't bother you. The only thing I didn't like was the sound but it doesn't bother me at all because I have a soundbar. If you have space, get the bigger one, even the 65" for an even better viewing experience!! It competes comfortably with big brands with more money!!

  An excellent vfm choice, amazing image very bright and with black levels touching oled TV levels. With minor adjustments (in movie mode of course) you achieve a wonderful image. I gave it 4 stars because of the sound which is average so the soundbar is a must and for the not so good viewing angle. Overall though it is an excellent choice and especially in hdr content the image is stunning!!!

  The television, as a simple TV for everyday use, is very good. Its colors are quite natural and its black is quite good. In my personal opinion, those who buy it should choose in the picture mode: movie and sound preset: music. If you spend a little time adjusting the color settings in this option, you will achieve a very good result comparable to much more expensive QLED televisions. This is as a simple television. However, there is a big problem with this specific model. If someone wants to connect it to a PC with an NVIDIA graphics card and wants to use it as a gaming monitor... they will be disappointed. Let me explain: I chose this specific television purely because of its features as a monitor. 144 Hz refresh rate, its panel, the HDMI 2.1 that gives you a gaming accelerator at these Hz, and all the other goodies. I have a Ryzen 9 5900x computer and an NVIDIA RTX 4090, a 32-inch Dell 4k monitor at 144 Hz, so I thought I’d get a 50-inch TV that could give me 4k at 144 so I could play PC games from there too. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The television is incompatible with NVIDIA cards. It does not deliver 4k resolution above 60Hz and even at a color depth of 8 bit. Not even 10 bit. Whatever settings you try to make either on the television or in the settings of the card on the PC to increase Hz or color depth, the television starts to flicker and the screen blinks. I tried another HDMI 2.1 cable in case that was the issue, nothing. Considering that the television was defective, I contacted TCL and explained the problem. A technician from the company came, saw the problem, and took the television to service to have it checked there. Three days later, they contacted me saying that the television does NOT have any problem and that they would send me an email with a PDF file directly from the parent company abroad explaining what exact settings I need to make for the television to produce the features it claims with NVIDIA cards. First of all, the existence of such a file from the parent company means that they are aware of the incompatibility with NVIDIA cards, something that should have been mentioned. They brought the television back to me, I opened the PDF file which briefly states that I need to manually "pin" the resolution and Hz from the NVIDIA control panel for the television to work. Of course, it NEVER worked even this way. To avoid tiring you with too much blah blah. As a monitor, it only works in 8bit 4k at 60Hz and nothing more. This when connected to a PC with NVIDIA cards. It may work with AMD cards or with a PlayStation or Xbox console. I do not have a console so I have no opinion. This is my personal experience. If, despite all this, any other buyer has figured out this specific problem, please write it below in the questions section. So, as a television, it is very good to excellent. However, if you are a potential buyer who wants to connect it to a PC with an NVIDIA card... check it out yourself so you don’t waste your money.

  UPDATE 25/05/2024: Two months later, and even though the television has had an update (V8-T653T01-LF1V098 on April 8), none of the above problems have been fixed. The television still does not meet the specifications it advertises when connected to a PC with NVIDIA cards. If you want 144Hz, you will have to lower the resolution to 2k and even at a color depth of 8 bit and not 10 bit as its specifications state regarding gaming. A buyer mentions the delay that the television has when you give it a command. I confirm this as well. Every 15 to 20 days, the television starts to lag significantly in responding to your requests. For example, you press the button to turn it on, and it turns on after 10 seconds. You press to increase or decrease the volume, and it responds after 5-6 seconds. As we say in PCs, it's like its memory is filling up, and it takes time to respond. I solve this problem by unplugging the power cord from the television for a minute (not unplugging the cord from the socket, that's not the same).. This way, it's like the television does a sort of reset, and it returns to normal response times until, of course, it happens again.. Another flaw of the television that shouldn't exist. At least this one you can fix... I will come back with updates....

  UPDATE 15/08/2024 New update (V8-T653T01-LF1V135 on July 5) and it seems that the issue of slow startup after 10-15 days of operation has been resolved. That's why I delayed writing here about the new update. Since the upgrade was installed on July 5, the problem has not reoccurred. However, the compatibility issue with NVIDIA cards unfortunately still persists.

  I am amazed by this 65-inch TV. I had a Samsung 55-inch and wanted a slightly bigger change. I was a bit hesitant because of the TCL brand, but after watching countless videos and reading comments, I decided to switch from Samsung, which I had all my TVs from, to TCL. Only time will tell if it can withstand. However, the TV has incredibly beautiful colors, great angles, and the menu takes a bit of getting used to because it's Android. The blacks are really black. It performs very well on digital channels, considering the quality we get in Greece. And with Netflix, Disney, YouTube, and everything else you watch there, you truly understand what you have purchased. I hope it lasts...
