It is a pure souls-like game, particularly demanding, you will need to die several times and therefore it concerns a specific range of players. If you don't have patience, don't get it at all. Personally, I liked the aesthetics of the game quite a bit, the theme; what I didn't like is its gameplay, which I found a bit stiff. If I compare it to other games in its category like ER, BB, DS, Sekiro, Lies of P, etc., I would rate it one level lower. Even though I finished it, it didn't give me the feeling to start ng+, hence the 4 stars.

Okay, I am a mix of Dark Souls and Bloodborne, good effort, but after the middle of the game, it tires you out for no reason
While the game runs smoothly without issues in performance mode, there are times, although few, when it freezes to an annoying extent.
The variety of enemies is small and some of them are mini bosses that you had faced before.
Other than that, the graphics are very nice, the battle system and bosses are great. The gameplay in general is quite good and I believe that if you like souls games, it's worth trying.
Unfortunately, I played it at the beginning when it had serious issues... From what I learned, they have released several patch fixes that can make it more playable. Before it even came out, I was really hyped and I was torn between buying this and Lies of P. I chose this one and even the deluxe edition. After a few days, I got so disappointed that I deleted it. A few months later, I bought Lies of P and enjoyed every moment of the game. These are my thoughts without mentioning the good and bad things I found in the game, as they are irrelevant after the patches
Fantastic game.. Maybe the best souls game by far! Better than Demon's Souls and even better than Elden Ring... Incredible graphics... Unbelievable sound. I bought it for €69 and it's worth every euro! A game that absolutely must be in the collection of any souls fan!
The game is Souls from start to finish with its own unique touches. The Art Direction is particularly beautiful, with detailed and complex environmental designs such as castles and buildings, etc. The atmosphere was truly amazing and immersive. The mechanic with the Ubral Lamp is perfect, giving depth to exploration and significantly increasing the difficulty of the game as enemies constantly keep coming. The overall design of the Bosses was commendable, especially the main bosses which were well-crafted in terms of design and mechanics. On the other hand, there were also bosses that, once defeated, suddenly appeared as regular mobs in the next areas, which personally bothered me a little. The soundtrack is dark and very nice. The variety of weapons and armor is at least admirable, and the fact that you can combine all the weapons together was a very interesting addition to the game and something we haven't seen in other Souls titles, although the moveset remained the same for all combinations. In the first few days, there was a small issue with performance, but it was quickly resolved. Overall, you can see the love and passion that the Developers put into the game. It's worth the money.
The game is epic! Its technical issues have been resolved on the ps5 and it is simply awesome. The areas are very nice, the battles are amazing, although it is difficult to pass through the areas, not so much with the bosses. A worthy successor to the Souls games. Anyone who plays such games must play it.
The only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is the performance, which is still very problematic.

The game, for what it is (essentially a soulslike game which it doesn't hide, it even writes it on the box), is excellent.
Personally, I didn't have any particular issue with the performance to be honest. If you like soulslike games, there is no way you won't like this one. It follows the same philosophy while introducing some nice additions like the two worlds and the lantern. It's worth it!
From an optical perspective, the game is a gem with very beautiful areas to explore. The combat has some differences from the other Souls games that I personally like, and the music is good and fits the overall atmosphere. There is a great variety of weapons and most of the bosses are quite interesting. The only negative aspect could be the performance, as in some areas the FPS drops, not something significant but somewhat annoying. From what I've seen, if not all, most of the issues are fixed in the latest patch for consoles and PC, so I think now is a good time to buy it. Update 11/7/23: The game no longer has any issues like FPS drops/bugs-glitches, any issue that existed has been fixed (PS5 edition)
Very nice game with very nice graphics! Copy of Dark Souls 3 with a more difficult and complex combat.

2. Corrupted saves. Suddenly, when I was at 25 hours of gameplay, it crashes. I open it and I'm 5 hours behind (a big disappointment when I was fully immersed)

If you are a fan of Dark Souls and Soulslike games, I highly recommend it! However, wait a little while for it to become more stable, don't experience the disappointment I did!
Finally, I believe the content of the deluxe edition is worth it!
