Build this mechanical marble track and learn about the laws of motion!

HOW IT WORKS: The battery powers the mechanism, which turns the endless screw on its shaft. This slowly turns the small gear, which in turn rotates the large gear. The large gear turns the drive gear, which activates the rotating wheel. When a position on the wheel passes the bottom of the track, the marble drops into it. When the marble reaches the top, it can fall and enter the spiral track. Gravity makes the marble rotate in the spiral track until it reaches the hole at the bottom.
