I have been using dehumidifiers for many years due to my area and I have the relevant experience. Last year, I first bought the Juro-Pro Optimum 16lt for my vacation home and I found it good. With this impression, I then bought the Juro-Pro Optimum 20lt for my main residence and since then I have been cursing. Those who write about the noise are right; it is unacceptable. Like a rattling old refrigerator that never stops. Of course, I dare not have the dehumidifier running in the living room or when I am sleeping, and I am referring to the low setting.
During a recent visit to Public, I saw this specific dehumidifier and started a conversation with the saleswoman and told her my problem. "It’s impossible," she told me, "because I have it too (16lt)." "Great," I replied, "I don’t have a problem with the 16lt. The problem is with the 20lt, and since you have it here on display, turn it on." This was done, and the saleswoman had the same question as me.
Bought 16lt compared to another brand I have, this one makes more noise! It does a good job at dehumidifying, the ionization function is good, it takes its time to eliminate odors but it doesn't work miracles, and it also has UV and WiFi functions!
Purchased for a vacation home for permanent operation all winter with cold without heating while we are away!

Well, after a year of use, I believe I have a comprehensive evaluation. The dehumidifier is relatively compact and does what it promises. The carbon filter is just a small mesh in addition to the air filter, which in my opinion doesn't play a significant role but exists only as a consumable since it needs to be changed once every six months. Personally, I have never changed it. The UV lamps do all the work in disinfection and have protection so they don't run continuously and burn out. The ionizer works at sufficient levels and removes a large percentage of odors. In case of cooking, don't expect the house to smell fresh just with the dehumidifier. The drying function is essentially a marketing trick; it simply makes the dehumidifier work at full capacity and sets the humidity to 35, so it essentially will never stop. Now, on to the more important points: the noise is in no way 38db as promised by the manufacturer. At least mine, on the medium setting, measures 50+ db. From what I've seen, others have had similar issues. I don't know if it's a flaw of the model or my specific device. In terms of power consumption, it does exactly what it promises since I had it connected to a socket that measures consumption. The difference in the bill at the end of the month is negligible, and I use it daily. The device connects to the phone with the Tuya app. I don't have anything crazy to say; the only downside is that if the dehumidifier stops working due to high water levels in the tank, it doesn't send you a notification, nor can you tell if you open the app.
Noisy to the point where I ve woken up in the middle of the night because of it. Apart from that it does a good job in a 62 sq.m . But the noise is unbearable I am thinking of selling it and buying another brand
Too much noise!!! It starts with the noise of the air coming out of the nozzle (here everything is fine) and then after a few minutes something starts and the racket begins. I'm thinking maybe it's defective. Whether with a filter or without, it creaks as if I have an old refrigerator working. I thought I would make a better purchase with Juro pro from another company. If you are thinking of getting it based on noise, I do not recommend it.

4 stars and not 5 because it makes noise, some say here in the comments that it is not heard at all and others that it makes a lot of noise, I am one of those who say that it makes noise, now I do not know if it is normal or if there is indeed an issue and how to determine it. In terms of reducing humidity, it is very good.
Absolutely satisfied with this dehumidifier. The noise level is moderate (not too loud but not silent either). After about a week of use, ten hours a day, it reduced the humidity in the house (86 sq.m.) from 70-75% to the desired levels of 55-58%. Once the humidity reaches the desired level, its operating hours decrease. Especially when placed in a bathroom, it leaves no trace of steam on the mirror and window aluminum. One thing I didn't see much difference in is its air purification function (placed in a combined living room - kitchen when frying fish and...). However, its main role is dehumidification. According to the manufacturer, the consumption is 290w, which is considered low.
I have had it for about two months now. It makes a lot of noise, that's why only two stars. I took it to a Juro-Pro authorized store for the noise and they told me that the compressor and a solenoid together make the noise and somehow they fixed things. In comparison to the noise of other dehumidifiers, I do not recommend it.

We have been using the dehumidifier for three months in a professional space (office) and we use it daily not only as a dehumidifier but also as a cleaner since it has a hepa 13 filter and an ionizer. The results are spectacular, we did not notice any noise from the device and we did not see any difference in consumption. We are very satisfied and we highly recommend it.

For those who don't have a problem with the sound of the compressor, it's a good purchase. It's not too annoying, but it's not suitable for sleeping in the room. The humidity levels drop relatively quickly with measurement and from another sensor. The clothes drying is satisfactory, but don't expect miracles, it's not a dryer. It will remove the moisture as long as the spin in the washing machine is above 800 revolutions. The 240 watts are not enough, so you save on electricity. Good quality construction without creaking. For anything else, I will come back.
