The Echinodorus "Quadricostatus" originates from South America and features light green leaves that are 10-15 cm long. These leaves create a beautiful contrast with darker plants in the aquarium. It is ideal to be planted in groups, as each plant can reach 15-20 cm in width. Under suitable conditions, it produces runners that spread out. The very light leaves indicate a deficiency of essential trace nutrients.
