    Thermometer it is.
    It measures the temperature... but:
    It is too small, resulting in the readings not being easily readable and the lines are so close to each other that the indication is not easily distinguishable.
    The glass cover is convex and shines in the light and the temperature indication is not clearly visible.
    I believe it does not live up to the amount of money I paid for it...
