Description

The dehumidifier from F&U has the capacity to absorb 12 liters of water within 24 hours. It is suitable for open spaces up to 60m², in order to maintain the humidity of the space at normal levels.

Benefits of Use

  • Creates conditions for the air to be more "comfortable," while removing the natural and visible signs of moisture, such as mold on the walls or condensation in the form of water droplets on windows.
  • Helps prevent conditions caused by high humidity, such as allergies and asthma.
  • During the winter months, it increases the room temperature by up to 3°C, resulting in reduced heating costs, thus offering money savings.

Removable Water Tank

It features a removable water tank with a capacity of 2.5 liters, which for the smooth operation of the device must be emptied regularly, and occasionally cleaned with soap and water to prevent mold formation.

Additionally, the water collected in the dehumidifier's tank is deionized and can be used for purposes where we do not want water with salts, such as in car windshield wipers. However, be careful, it is not of such high purity to come into contact with clean clothes, so it is not recommended for use in the steam iron.

Ionizer

It features an ionizer function that releases positive and negative ions, thus helping to neutralize bacteria and germs, dust, unpleasant odors, and airborne particles. At the same time, it cleans the air from odors originating from smoke or activities such as cooking, improving the atmosphere. It is recommended for people with allergies and for spaces where babies or elderly people reside.

Clothes Drying Program

The special clothes drying program provides quick drying without the moisture from the damp clothes accumulating in your space, as all the moisture will end up in the dehumidifier's water tank. Simply place the drying rack with the clothes in a (preferably small) room with the door closed, and the dehumidifier close to the clothes, and select the clothes drying function.

Automatic Restart

Function that automatically restarts the dehumidifier after a power outage.

Timer

It features a timer that helps you schedule its operating hours and automatically turns on/off at the time you have set. This way, energy costs are reduced, thus saving energy and money.

Activated Carbon Filter

With an activated carbon filter, which acts against unpleasant odors present in the space and combats a large portion of harmful gases that burden our body. It removes smoke, odors, chemicals from cigarette smoke, and many exhaust pollutants. It is also suitable for those suffering from allergies and asthma, as it retains a very high percentage of bacteria, microbes, pollutants, and other harmful microparticles present in the air.     Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I bought it exclusively for drying clothes and it doesn't dry them quickly at all. (I have set it to the laundry program as well as without it) A full 24 hours pass and some clothes are still wet in some areas with wrinkles or elastic, etc. Note that I empty the tank as soon as it fills up and I put the clothes in a small room with the door closed. A relative of mine who works at a large electrical chain told me that normally dehumidifiers dry clothes in 7-8 hours. On the positive side, it doesn't make much noise. At least the noise it makes is not annoying.

    Very honest machine and more than that. And very good for its price. It does a much better job compared to other expensive brand dehumidifiers. In a 65 square meter space with the living room door permanently half-open (due to pets) and me being a smoker, it quickly cleans the atmosphere (thanks to the ionizer and activated carbon filter) from odors and reduces humidity to a satisfactory level. Imagine what it would do in a smaller house with closed doors in the city! It is completely silent in low and sleep mode and has tolerable noise in high mode. Plus, it has a bright indicator light (green-red-blue) to give you a general idea of the humidity, and it also helps with heating the house. One of the best dehumidifiers I have purchased. I would buy it again without hesitation. It works under tough conditions in a very humid environment (Delta Pindus area = mountain and river nearby) and does a very good job! I highly recommend it.
