It was purchased exclusively for use as an external drive on the PS5. It works perfectly with the console, is very fast, doesn't heat up during use, and is discreet due to its small size. As I said, I have two almost with the same data for fear that one will break and hoping that both will not break together. But as I said, everything is fine. I did not experience many complaints from other reviews about temperature and speed here. I will give five stars (at first I had four) but I will note that recently I read about a problem with disks from the company that "disappear data" and it worried me a little. So now that I needed disks again, I bought another brand at a similar price.
