I am summarizing after about 1.5 years of use:
- The battery was purchased in March 2023 and from the codes written on it, the manufacturing date is the 9th week of 2023, so super "fresh."
- After 1 month, the top stickers completely peeled off, revealing the 6 caps; I asked the dealership and the response was "it's okay, it works fine."
- In November 2024, liquid started leaking from one cap, which caused surface corrosion on the negative terminal. I called the dealership and the response was "it's probably from the charge, it works fine; if you want, send it for inspection." I sent it, it was checked, and everything was found to be "fine." The caps were secured, the sticker that had come off was replaced, and the battery was returned to me.
In short... either the stickers peel off, or there is a leak from the cap, or corrosion occurs on one terminal... the battery, if "it works well," has no problem...
The car has been checked on the dynamometer, etc., and it's perfectly fine.
So based on the one and a half years of use of this particular one, I believe that while the dealership may have excellent service, the battery presents some "surprises" that I have never encountered in the 30 years I have been driving cars.
First photo one month after purchase (stickers bye bye)... second photo a few days ago (leak from cap and terminal corrosion)...Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful? The first one I bought lasted me 5 years with little use (1-2 times a week and short distances). The second one lasted me 3 because the power broke and it was overcharged, resulting in boiling. I consider it a very high-quality battery, just a little expensive.

Did you find this review helpful?I have it in a 2004 Toyota Corolla.
I installed it in March 2015 and it still holds up today (March 2021), meaning 6 years.
It was recommended to me by the workshop.Translated from Greek ·- Longevity

Did you find this review helpful?I have it in my Ford Focus for 6 years and it still works! There is no reason for discussion.... The previous one was a Bosch, lasted for five years.... And more expensive, costing 90€..... Banner again, Banner!

Did you find this review helpful?Purchased today for a first-generation Ford Focus 1.6, the car now has a Bosch s 4 44Amp battery and has lasted for five years. I am changing it for preventive reasons because it is giving me trouble with starting. I went to a well-known store today with years of experience in the field, and they recommended this specific Branner 44Amp battery. They convinced me to buy it because it states a starting power of 420 A (EN), and when they measured it in front of me, it showed much more, specifically 468A starting power. Additionally, I have read very positive comments about it here. It is of Austrian manufacture, which is why I believe it is a bit expensive. But if it is indeed true that it is highly regarded and valued by those who have it, then the slightly higher price from this company is worth it. Time will tell.

Did you find this review helpful?7.5 years in a 2008 Focus 1.6 with 44 Ah (420 A) and it still goes. What else can you say. It's worth every last cent.
Finally, I replaced it on 10-12-21, just before its 8th birthday, without letting me down, but it was on its limits. Of course, it was replaced only with the same one. It really can't be compared!Translated from Greek ·- Longevity
