Disappointing to carry the name of Edifier.
Its design, which is unique and probably its main feature, did not disappoint me even with the quite cheap plastic construction, as for €120 I did not expect spaceship materials, and the lighting, which can be adjusted with several options as well as additional downloadable effects via the Edifier Connect app, is fun and can easily flatter a more RGB-centric PC setup or create an atmosphere when the music alone is not enough.
Speaking of music, the sound for the size is quite good, although not at all exciting. The tweeter helps a lot with the highs and saves a bit of the dull character that this particular speaker tends to present. In the aforementioned app, basic EQ settings with 6 bands as well as some presets are offered.
Additionally, in the app, you will find a library with relaxing music and sound effects and a setting for LDAC which is disabled by default and which I recommend without a second thought to enable if your device supports it, as the difference in sound quality is noticeable compared to the classic SBC.
So let me move on to the disappointing aspects.
The digital clock on the front unfortunately does not have the ability to stay on when the speaker is turned off. I can't think of any good reason as the speaker, with its design and due to the lack of a battery, will most often be permanently connected to a power supply on some shelf or furniture.
However, the truly bad thing is the fact that after only 3 charges of my phone, the built-in charger completely stopped working. Neither of the two ports outputs power anymore, which means that a feature of the device, which I personally considered important for the use I made of it, has simply and without any apparent reason stopped functioning just a few months after purchase. What a shame.

At this price, one can find speakers with better sound, more features, and better build quality.
Do not prefer it unless you like the design and the possibly random malfunction that happened to me does not stress you regarding the quality control of this particular model.
