Having tried other 2 companies besides 3M, I prefer these specific ones due to maximum noise isolation. They won't be comfortable for those with a narrow ear canal; I recommend the corresponding ones that are yellow in color.

The best, thickest and perhaps slightly larger, were the 3M ones that were sold in a cardboard box of two pairs. For some reason they were discontinued. These here are the best available on the market. I live on a noisy street and always wear earplugs to sleep. So I've done my research ..

They are bigger and made of harder material than the yellow ones. They have worked fine for me. It's good for someone to try them first to see if they fit them.
