Description

The PowerColor Radeon RX 7700 XT 12GB GDDR6 Fighter OC is a powerful graphics card that offers excellent performance in games at 1440p and 1080p resolutions. With 12 GB of GDDR6 memory, the card can handle even the most demanding games at these resolutions.

It is equipped with AMD's new RDNA 3 architecture and has 12GB of GDDR6 memory for increased performance. Additionally, the card features technologies such as AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution and AMD Smart Access Memory, which enhance graphics quality and provide more realistic gaming experiences.

Comparison with Previous Generation

The ever-evolving AMD RDNA architecture improves performance efficiency per watt from generation to generation, paving the way for better gaming. With AMD RDNA 3, users enjoy up to 50% greater performance per watt compared to the previous generation, AMD RDNA 2.

AMD Radeon RX 7000 Series graphics cards are designed to accelerate advanced artificial intelligence (AI) experiences. With over 2 times stronger AI performance compared to the previous generation. They are ideal for accelerating AI tasks, processing large machine learning data sets, and are designed to work with multiple machine learning frameworks.

AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition

Designed to provide you with a clean, modern, and user-friendly interaction where you can quickly access the latest software features, game stats, performance reports, driver updates, and more - all from one convenient location.

Take advantage of the ALT+R hotkey to open AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition directly in-game, making it even more convenient and easy to customize your favorite features and achieve a fantastic gaming experience.

AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution

AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) uses cutting-edge upscaling technologies to boost frame rates in select titles and deliver high-quality, high-resolution gaming experiences without the need to upgrade to a new graphics card.

AMD Link

AMD Link, a free application that allows you to connect to your computer from your phone, tablet, or TV, is now available for Windows-based computers.

Optimized for better performance, you can now connect with your friends like never before using Link Game, a new feature that allows a friend to connect to your computer from their own machine and play local multiplayer games on your system.

AMD Noise Suppression

AMD Noise Suppression reduces ambient sound noise, providing greater clarity and improved focus whether you are concentrating on an important meeting or staying focused on a competitive game.

AMD Radeon Super Resolution

Boost performance in thousands of games

Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) is a driver-based upscaling feature that uses the same algorithm found in AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) technology.

Gamers can take advantage of Radeon Super Resolution technology to unlock new levels of performance in any compatible game.

AMD Smart Access Memory

Gain up to 15% more gaming performance with AMD's Smart Access Memory

In conventional Windows-based computer systems, processors can only access a fraction of the graphics memory (VRAM) at a time, limiting system performance.

With AMD Smart Access Memory, the data channel is expanded to fully utilize the potential of the GPU memory, using the bandwidth of PCI Express to remove bottlenecks and increase performance.

AMD Privacy View

Enhanced focus for increased privacy

Privacy View instantly displays any part of your screen using cutting-edge eye-tracking technology. Simply look at an area on your screen while other parts blur.

Share only what is necessary – Privacy View offers various options to blur areas outside your field of vision, keeping your personal content and information private as intended.

AMD Radeon Boost

AMD Radeon Boost dynamically reduces the resolution of the entire frame when fast character motion is detected on the screen through user input, allowing for higher FPS with minimal impact on quality.

With initial support for select DirectX 11 games, this feature now leverages variable rate shading hardware and supported DirectX 12 titles, providing additional performance and increased responsiveness while gaming.

AMD Radeon Anti-Lag

Providing even faster response times with every click

Radeon Anti-Lag controls the pace of the CPU's work to ensure it is not too far ahead of the GPU, reducing the amount of CPU work that is queued.

As a result, Radeon Anti-Lag can reduce input lag by almost a full frame, helping to restore responsiveness to your game.

AMD Radeon Image Sharpening

Stunning visuals. No performance impact.

AMD Radeon Image Sharpening uses a contrast-adaptive sharpening algorithm that restores clarity to game graphics that may have been affected by other effects, highlighting object details.

High-quality Japanese dual bearings

Double bearings reduce rotational friction, providing excellent heat dissipation and essentially doubling the expected lifespan of the fans.

Intelligent Fan Controller

Utilizing temperature detection from a smart chip, the fans will start operating when the GPU reaches 60 ℃ and will shut down below 50 ℃. Effective cooling, reduced fan noise, and extended product lifespan are all benefits of more precise temperature monitoring.

Unprecedented Ring-Blade Fan Design

The latest 9-blade fan design produces better airflow and air pressure at the same noise level, improving cooling performance to reduce GPU temperature by more than 3℃ compared to previous generations.

Direct Touch Copper Base

A smooth copper base comes into direct contact with the GPU to enhance excellent heat transfer and improves heat dissipation from the VRAM memories to keep the card in optimal cooling condition.

Reinforced Backplate

The metal backplate is extremely rigid to reinforce the card and prevent the PCB from bending.

I have had this graphics card for 5 months now and I can only say good things.

Let me start by mentioning that on its own, without overclocking or undervolting, it plays almost everything I have tried (Hogwarts Legacy, Elden Ring, God of War 2018) at 1080/1440p ultra and even at 4k ultra (I’m not joking) all the games except Hogwarts Legacy, which I set to high graphics at 60fps. From the 20+ reviews I have read and seen on the internet/YouTube, everyone mentions it as a very good option for 1440. I see that the card has more capabilities. I don’t know if it’s this lottery they talk about and this particular piece is so good, but the results I have seen are amazing and for the 400 euros I got it for in the summer, without caring about RT, I believe it is an extremely good choice for its price.

Today is the first time I overclocked it because I got a new case with 6 fans and I haven’t tested differences in games yet, but I mention that the speeds of mine have reached 3000+ mHz along with undervolting without instability even in 4k gaming. When I do a comparison, I will come back to update. My specs are r5 7600, 7700xt, 32gb ddr5 ram + 750w psu.

I see that in the last few weeks some 7800xt have dropped below 500, so if your budget allows it, buy that one for about 70 euros more and a minimum of 20 fps more in all games.

Edit 1: I downloaded Indiana Jones the Great Circle which requires the 7700xt for 1440p ultra. I play the game steadily at 60fps with 1440p and Supreme (which is the highest) without cutting anything. If I want, I can enable FSR and play at 4k, but I don’t see a significant difference, so I keep it at 1440p. It’s an incredibly worthy card.

Edit 2: I started today and I’m playing Tekken 8 which has the 5700xt in the recommended specs to play at 1080p with steady 60fps. The Chillblast site recommends the 6800xt for higher resolutions. With this particular card, without overclocking, I play at 1440p with everything on ultra. With a little tuning I found from Steam and overclocking, it plays up to 3200x1800 (one step below 4k) steadily at 60fps.

Excellent card for its price (430 euros purchase price). No comparison in memory quantity with its rival the 4060ti (8GB).
