Description

The Poynting OMNI-296 V.1 antenna is a dual-band omni-directional Wi-Fi antenna, designed by Poynting Antennas. It can connect to any Wi-Fi access point, regardless of the Wi-Fi technology used. This means that the antenna can be used to solve channel congestion and provide top Wi-Fi performance and flexibility.

The antenna operates on both Wi-Fi frequency bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), offering excellent utilization of the radio spectrum. It has a maximum gain of 6dBi in the 2.4GHz band and 7.5dBi in the 5GHz band, ensuring reliable connections. Additionally, it covers the 3.5 GHz CBRS band, which will be used for future 5G technologies with a maximum gain of 7dBi.

The casing is made of ABS, a durable plastic resistant to acids and other chemicals that may be encountered in industrial environments. The antenna features an N-Type female connector at its base, which can be connected to a cable of the desired type and length.
