It belongs to the bladderwort family. All plants of this family are carnivorous and wetland plants. Utricularia graminifolia creates traps in the form of bladders, which is a unique characteristic of this family, after a short period in the aquarium.

Its name means "leafy lawn" and it creates a beautiful carpet that resembles lawn grass. It is therefore an ideal plant for the front zone of the aquarium.
