Solar water heater Megasun by Helioakmi has a nominal capacity of 200 liters and is suitable to meet the hot water needs of up to 5 people.
The water heater is the storage tank for the solar hot water. From there, the water is transported to the house through pipes so that we can use it. Its main function is to maintain the hot water at the appropriate temperature. It requires regular maintenance, cleaning from salts, sludge, and other particles that may have accumulated, as well as checking the magnesium anode, which is responsible for preventing electrolysis that can puncture the water heater. This maintenance should be done at least every 2 years.
It cannot operate independently, it either needs to replace your old solar water heater or separate solar collectors need to be purchased to make it fully functional.
It is triple energy and operates by utilizing either solar energy, electricity, or a heat pump. Solar energy is collected through the collectors of the solar water heater. It also has an electric resistance, so it can function as a regular electric water heater on days with low sunlight. Alternatively, it has a long-length heat exchanger (coil) capable of managing the low temperatures at which the heat pump can operate. This allows for energy exchange and water heating in the boiler.
It has an internal enamel coating that covers the interior of the tank at every point and is created by applying enamel (glass) on metal. This results in protection against rust, as the water does not come into contact with the walls, ensuring clean drinking water at all times.
