  • There are few times when I want to give a review for something, I hesitate on which aspect I should critique. We are talking about a point and click puzzle. The word game is missing at the end, and it’s missing because I don’t know if I can consider it a game, but I can certainly consider it a moving work of art. Being made by one person over 12 years, hand-painted, where he has managed to convey surrealism in a wonderful way, no one can dispute the hard work and the painful pencil of the artist. So I can’t butcher the whole production, since the artistry and the visual stimulus are major both in terms of thought process and as the central protagonists of the game. But because we are talking about gaming and not works of art, I will delve into the gameplay aspects.
It’s a simple point and click in its controls. A joystick and one button. Time two hours. The puzzles start at an easy level and end up being manageable if you are someone who is adept with puzzles. This doesn’t mean they aren’t also imaginative and clever in their implementation. If you’re not adept, you might get stuck on a couple. Quite a few bugs that can easily be resolved with an update.
In conclusion, it’s a peculiar game that I don’t know if it left me with any memorable taste in the end. I had the same feeling when my mom would leave me in front of a TV with kids' shows like Popeye, and I would sit there because the animation was fluent but at the same time crazy/captivating for that era. It could easily be translated as a short interactive film for promoting the artist and his skills.
