What is a brushless motor?
In DC electric motors, at the point where the electric current is supplied to their rotating part, two brushes (also called brushes or carbon brushes) are used. Over time, due to friction, the brushes wear out and need to be replaced. For this reason, in recent years, brushless electric motors have been developed, which far surpass a brushed motor.
Advantages
Due to the absence of brushes, they exhibit minimal mechanical wear and the need for maintenance is minimized.

Attention, not tight chain, strains the motor and consumes the battery faster. Otherwise, great value for money. After 25 years of using a gasoline-powered one, I am considering getting rid of it. For more intense use, buyers should get an extra battery, which costs 18 euros. With three batteries, you can do a good job in the field. In the market, there are 21v 4 amber batteries (from ingsul angle grinder) that fit perfectly, charge with the same charger, and last almost the whole day!!! (Price is 25 euros.)
DO NOT buy it at all, it's better to spend an extra 50 and get a better one with an oil container. This particular model ate up my points, the cap sits loose and the chain came off along the way. The protective cover broke and we barely saved our finger in the nick of time.
The "body" looks quality and sturdy. It has two batteries as a positive while the charger is below expectations... I would describe it as fake. Also, the brand labels do not catch the eye much on both the body and the case. Pressing the trigger starts smoothly and immediately gives all the power which seems to be great. It has not been used yet... I will come back!! For now, 4 stars because the body looks sturdy, the chain is lubricated, it has two 3ah batteries and seems powerful.
I bought it yesterday 01/18/25 to cut small branches from flower beds, not anything like gardens and large trunks! Not for professional use, not even amateur, I prune twice a year! It doesn't even cut rose bushes 20 centimeters tall, and the battery just drained and stopped when I pressed it to cut, even though I charged it all night (it has 2 batteries but they are useless, the whole thing is weak)! In the end, if you don't spend over €100, you won't get the job done!
For its price, it is a small miracle. We should see it as a pruner and not as a small saw. It cuts small logs up to 15 centimeters very quickly and easily. If someone wants to cut larger logs, they can, but the saw will struggle and the battery will run out faster. I got it for pruning olive trees and for the branches from the trees when I go to cut wood for the fireplace.
Very high quality for its price and for the intended use. It is a pruning chainsaw, not for cutting logs as some use it. It has the ability to cut branches as thick as a man's forearm with great ease.
Great care needs to be taken to ensure lubrication is done frequently and with the appropriate oil (not WD-40!!!)
It would be more useful if it could fit in the case along with the blade that accompanies it when in use, and not require disassembly. I don't think it is difficult for those who represent it to convey this to the manufacturer.
What can I say, guys, it's USELESS, for a moment I thought I had put the chain on backwards. Better to do it by hand. ALSO, after 2-3 uses, THE BUTTON GOT STUCK and it stayed permanently on! We almost lost 2 fingers. I had to hit it to unstick it. DANGEROUS.
It was purchased along with the extension, during the 2nd use it broke, without much pressure. Poorly designed in my opinion and from what I read in the other comments, it broke for others exactly at the same point
I bought it three days ago and today I tried it. I was very satisfied with the cutting and its performance; it cuts very well, has no vibrations, seems to be very powerful, and the chain oils itself automatically satisfactorily. I might remove the chain guard for more satisfying cuts!!
WARNING - WARNING says the motor is 21 volts but it is 18!!!!!!!!!! so it burns out! unacceptable from the company don't let them charge for replacement! essentially, it has no warranty. I bought it 10/23 and used it 2 times for some twigs, I didn't even finish the battery. the third time I used it 7/24 it ran out of motor. it stopped, I took it to the store where I bought it, they sent it to Thessaloniki for 10 euros shipping and it came back with a new motor saying it cost 35 euros. note that I bought it for 70 euros and now it costs about 54 and they want an additional 35 euros within the warranty, meaning it comes to 115 euros..... essentially with no use at all.... of course, it jams and the safety doesn't stop when you leave it, if it didn't get a hit it wouldn't stop, it just kept spinning.... as long as it worked, it worked well, but as soon as I "strained" it, they say, it stopped, that was it, I read about 200 roots, 2 little trees, a laurel and its twigs, and a medlar, I tried and that's where it stayed. this "bad use" story has ruined us with all the machines.... I wouldn't recommend it. not even one star! ha! it came into my hands. unacceptable in everything, everyone. they gave me a little chainsaw that is not mine (mine had no scratches and was spotless and I had also given the charger and the 2 batteries to see where the problem is). so to know, when you give something to any service, write your name on it because you don't know whose tool will eventually come back to you. and additionally, they told me from the service of the bazaka that the motor is 21 volts, but the motor they returned to me as broken (of course due to my bad use) says 18 volts???????????? STAY AWAY! scoundrels and liars
The chain requires frequent lubrication. One of the tensioner adjustment screws came off and we were struggling to find replacements. Overall, not very satisfied.
I bought it along with the extension. In order to prevent it from jamming and kicking, you have to give it many turns before it comes into contact with the branch. The extension is unacceptable because it bends and you cannot have satisfactory control of the tool. After a few cuts, the base of the saw that connects to the extension broke. This happened due to poor design because all the pressure it receives during cutting or bouncing is transferred to this point where, however, the proper strength was not given. I contacted the dealership to change the base under warranty. They refused. They gave me the replacement at a 50% discount with a final price of 20 euros. Too expensive for a simple, low-quality plastic. If you plan to buy the saw, under no circumstances should you get the extension.
Until the thirty olives everything was perfect. In the thin branches it had strong vibrations when operated with one hand. With the additional arm and with both hands it was stable. On a tall branch that I cut with one hand stretched, it made such strong vibrations and the entire battery base broke. It hung. I sent it and they repaired it. But it left me in the middle of the work. At this point, it has vulnerability.
Very powerful machine, I didn't expect it. It cuts quickly and effortlessly everything from branches to small tree trunks. I will come back if durability and chain issues arise. For now, satisfied.
I bought the HCS2110 model at a higher price because of the oil pump, but the chain does not get lubricated at all. I used 30 SAE chain oil. I contacted the service engineer and he told me to use 10 SAE oil, which is not mentioned in the manufacturer's instructions. I haven't tried it yet with thinner oil to have an opinion. It has no vibrations at all and each battery lasts about an hour of continuous work in cutting thick branches in an olive grove. It is a good tool for secondary tasks.
Good and practical because it has two batteries, generally does the job. The only negative thing that may have happened to me is that it has an issue with the trigger, it sometimes gets stuck and doesn't have good feedback. For its price, it is good
I used it with the pole together for pruning olive trees and on the first day (50-70 cuts) it broke.. Unfortunately, I had predicted it would break because it had a lot of vibrations with the pole and generally got stuck, while without the pole it had better performance.
The chainsaw is very good, very powerful, and cuts even wood that a regular gasoline chainsaw would cut. It comes with two 21V 3AH batteries and a charger, as well as the chainsaw with a blade and chain. The only negative thing I found in my set at least was that the oil pump did not release oil and I did not want to send it back to the dealership because it would take a month to get it back and then the pruning would be over. So I decided to find a solution myself, which I did. I cleaned the oil pump hole with a small drywall screw and then opened the cap where you fill the oil and blew air with a compressor while holding the chainsaw upside down from the hole where the pump sprays it towards the hole where you fill it, and it started releasing oil just fine after that.
Be careful, the oil that we should use is the same as the one used in gasoline chainsaws, not a higher one because it will throw it back at you and ruin the machine.
I hope I helped.
I will come back for any updates.
I will refer to the 2110.
It was purchased in February 2024 and tested rigorously in Epirus. Satisfied for the most part, but the problem it presented from the beginning is that it does not oil the chain.
Today I took it to the store where it was purchased in Athens and tomorrow they will send it to the dealership in Thessaloniki, for which I was asked for 10€ for the transportation costs that are not covered by the dealership. Regardless of the amount, there should be absolutely no charge for a faulty tool that was purchased.
I am now returning with the worst...
A brand new tool of one week and the dealership sent it elsewhere. In other words, they confused it and they would send me a broken one who knows what it had gone through. And the one who sent the broken one took mine, a week-old tool.
They still do not know where they sent it and I do not know if they will ever find out, such fools they are all over Greece. What do I do now? If necessary, I will continue it from another way. The important thing is that I will not accept anything other than a new one now, even if I have to wait. We will have a follow-up on the matter. This shows disorganization, haste, and above all, unacceptable behavior towards the customer who supports them. Representatives for the trash. It's hard to trust your tools with them.
For HCS 21350 VB
Much better than I expected
I also bought the extension and it became a pole saw
It cuts wood with great ease, it doesn't overheat, and with the 2 batteries, you can get a lot of work done
The only negative thing might be that the charger takes a while to fully charge the batteries, the batteries don't have a level indicator, and the handle of the saw is white and gets dirty (this is only for those who are compulsive about cleanliness)
Now, whether it will last will be seen in the future.
I consider it a very good purchase.
In terms of power, it doesn't understand anything, plus it has an oil reservoir, the chain tightens easily, if it lasts over time it will be value for money, I got it because of the nice presentation at farmer evolution, if you have the opportunity, get the pole as well, an amazing combination. The handle helps you hold it with both hands, it really doesn't get stuck anywhere, I didn't expect it to be this powerful. In two identical ones, the first time it took about three minutes to get oil out while working it, with the cap removed and the blade exposed, so the first time don't cut immediately, work it for a little while in the air to let it get some oil on the chain first. UPDATE after a year, because at very thin settings it might throw the chain, turn the drive gear upside down with the washer facing out, also if you are working with a pole, the base of the saw that connects the pole under the handle you hold is sensitive, it breaks with a strong hit if you are cutting with the pole high at 3 meters for example and it gets stuck in the wood. Without the pole, which we work with, we called it "deadly weapon," get the upgraded 2111vb, it has no delay in starting at all.
I hear some people saying that the battery drained so quickly for me. I charged the battery and went to cut a branch, but it left me halfway through. Honestly, how long should the battery be charged? Does anyone know?
Good, cuts quickly and well. Automatic lubrication is "important". Nice case with batteries that comfortably last for 100+ cuts. Also suitable for small branches. Light, although depending on your posture (e.g. hand raised), you might feel it a bit more after a while. Overall, everything is good and a very worthwhile purchase.
The review is about the hcs2110vb 20cm blade.
I used it for pruning an almond tree along with the pole.
It cuts very well, but you need to press the trigger before it touches the branch to avoid it biting.
One battery lasted for 3.5 hours.
It lasted for a year....then it broke!!!! It's a monkey, it's not a real HYUNDAI (its labels are stickers that eventually come off). It heats up and sticks very easily
They gave it to us as a gift and I laughed with it. I have a Stihl gasoline chainsaw for the thick branches and I consider it as its assistant. It seems like a toy. I took it to the field with the olive trees (200 roots) and I had to prune and clean the branches. Very good company throughout the work and it helped me reduce the volume before clearing. The 2 batteries need to be used economically as they would run out after 4-5 hours of work in the field (Obviously, I'm not talking about continuous operation, but periodically along with digging-clearing-cleaning). It is worth 100% of its money
The only reason it doesn't get five stars is because the small branches make your hands ache (obviously, that's the chain's step), with two batteries you barely manage to do some cutting, but for its price it's worth it... I had a Chinese one that couldn't even do half the job, not to mention it destroys 10-point trunks. Be careful with the batteries, they don't last for months without any charge, even if you don't use it
