Very good for supplementary incremental backup function to another existing Synology NAS. In no case would I use it as a stand-alone since it only takes one disk.
I installed a 16TB disk and downloaded the app on the family's phones, and essentially we have our own cloud at home. It saved us during the summer vacation; 8000 photos and videos were already backed up at home when we returned and the phones were empty
I would advise potential buyers of professional products to avoid purchasing through this platform, as in the case of a faulty item, communication is unclear and the replacement process takes an indefinite amount of time. In the specific case of this item, the restart button detached from the board the second time I reset it (3 days after receiving the Ironwolf). I cannot blame anyone for this, as errors can occur, but the process should be much faster.
*UPDATE* The replacement part arrived after contacting Scroutz and it worked perfectly. I have no complaints about Scroutz regarding the replacement. The replacement time is relative, if you are eager for the product, as I was. So the rating is 4 stars. The product is very good, HDD Ironwolf 4TB, 1.77TB copy in about 6 1/2 hours.
