The Helikon-Tex Claymore Bag is a one-day shoulder bag designed for tactical and everyday use. It was first used by the American army in the 1960s for carrying the M18A1 mine, from which the name Claymore Bag originates. Designed to complement the company's range of bushcraft and outdoor bags, the Claymore bag sits between a slightly larger and stiffer Haversack bag (8lt) and a less spacious Essential Kit bag (2.5lt).

The Claymore bag is made from 500D Cordura, which is much more durable than traditional nylon and polyester, and is particularly resistant to abrasion and frequent use. It features a total of fourteen (14) pockets and can be used as a go bag, holding spare ammunition, a canteen, and a lightweight jacket.

The external pockets are designed for quick access, with two large external pockets secured by Velcro and snap buttons (if needed). Within these, there are two flat pockets, ideal for AR/AK magazines. On the back of the bag, there are three pockets for additional storage, suitable for AK/AR magazines.

The main compartment secures with a zipper and is divided into four flat pockets and a free space that can accommodate a notebook or tablet. Additionally, there is a zippered pocket on the back for valuables, such as important documents or money. Keys and small items can be hung on the loops available on the side parts.
