Hair clay that provides strong hold with a natural matte finish. Suitable for short or long hair, and ideal for coarse hair. Shapes and holds hair, controls the natural movement of the hair, does not leave greasiness and does not shine.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Quite good overall but there are definitely better options in its category. The following observations concern my own hair (thick, somewhat wavy).
The packaging says hold 8/10 and shine 2/10. I agree with the second but the hold is 7 at best and weakens quite a bit after 3 hours, resulting in needing minor adjustments to achieve the original look.
The application must be done correctly on the first try because otherwise it is very difficult to make changes as the product sticks a lot and cannot get wet.
That said, it’s worth mentioning that the amount in the package, 70 g, lasts a long time if used 2-3 times a week and has a pleasant scent.
I have been using it for about 2 years, satisfied, it has no scent, matte finish, it doesn't show, good long-lasting hold, everything is good.
Nice clay, strong hold, matte finish.
The application is a bit difficult because the material is somewhat dry.
It takes a little while to give it an initial shape and then add details.
It washes off easily. Normal scent.
I am very satisfied with the result. You apply a little and spread it well on your fingers, and then you style it. Personally, if my hair is not short, I also use a little hairspray to keep the hair in place for hours.
I bought it to tame the short curls that form at the roots of my hair when I have frizz. My hair is very curly and thick.
It has great longevity and is easy to apply once you warm it well in your palms. The scent is neutral to pleasant. My main issue is that it clumps the strands together and when it hardens, it gives them a very strange, unnatural appearance. It tends to be greasy and heavy (even though I generally have dry hair) and leaves residue after several hours.
I would buy it again, but as my 2nd or 3rd choice.
Scent indifferent to odorless. Good natural hold. Hair doesn't seem to have anything. Matte result. Worth trying.
I have been searching for a long time for something strong that does not make my hair oily. It has excellent hold with a simple application and lasts all day. It rinses out easily. The scent is average and indifferent. The LOREAL products I have bought until now always started off well, but as the jar emptied, they started leaving a relative greasiness. This does not seem to have the same tendency. My hair type: Oily.
Whoever makes the mistake and buys it, will simply throw it in the trash. It doesn't come off the hands, it sticks incredibly. The fact that it holds the hair doesn't say anything when it's sticky on the hands, stay away
The best clay I have ever tried, it doesn't whiten or stick. However, be careful and buy the new one. I bought the old clay from the company without knowing and it is much inferior (it doesn't come off the hair and hands at all), that's why they obviously released this one. Its price is a bit steep, but with a small quantity, you're okay. With normal use, I believe it lasts 1.5-2 months.
I have thin hair with medium to long length. I bought the product for its matte finish, strong hold, and resistance to sweat. Unfortunately, it does not live up to its promises. The only positives are the scent and the beautiful packaging. As for the hold, it is strong initially after application, but then the hair starts to loosen and appear greasy without being able to be fixed. Once I sweat even a little, not only does it not hold the hair, but it also makes it worse. It is even worse when applying because it is difficult to spread on the hands and hard to rinse off, even with hot water and a lot of soap.
For its price, it is a big disappointment. Anyone looking for a matte finish without stiffness can find something more affordable, like the Schwarzkopf Got2B Beach Matt Paste that I am currently using.
I couldn't resist trying it. It is the newest member of the Uppercut with an amazing scent (lemon and leather). It provides strong hold for curly hair with a fantastic texture, resulting in a natural intense black matte finish. It has strong hold throughout the day. I prefer using it for a messy look, and just apply a little and rub my hands together well. It spreads quite easily for a clay and is easier to remove than the matt pomade (green one)
I read the comments here before buying it and I was particularly hesitant... However, despite what they said, everyone praised its hold and that's what interested me... I have difficult hair and most products fade after a while... This one claims to have an 8/10 hold on the packaging and it's exactly what it says... It doesn't harden to the point of not moving, but because its texture is like wax paste, it provides a stable hold for the hair worthy of that 8 rating... As for the application, it's of moderate ease and the truth is that yes, it's quite difficult to remove from the hands afterwards, but everything is solved with warm water.
The product is not a pomade but a wax.
It has a mint scent and a matte finish (but not natural).
Its hold is good and lasts all day.
To use it, you put a small amount in your hand and rub it to warm it up for application on the hair.
But what's the point of all this if it doesn't come off your hands at all!
After application, I have to wash my hands with warm water and soap 3-4 times!!
The only use I found for it is to put a minimal amount on my fingertips and then straighten my mustache.
For me with thin, weak hair and medium length hair, we have and say:
1. It sticks a lot to the hands and requires 2 soap rinses to remove.
2. It slightly greases the hair.
3. It has a nice smell.
4. The hold is like the matte pomade (matt deluxe) from uppercut with the advantage that it binds the hair a little more due to the oily substance.
5. Even with 2 washes, the greasiness did not go away with the hair and the next day I was forced not to use the product
Disgusting, it crumbles in your hands and has poor application. Anyone who has tried the old craft clay from Sebastian will be disappointed. The only solution is Revlon's clay.
The product is the first one I buy with so much money. I have tried many products in the past as I don't have a stable hairstyle and this is one of the few that suited me, as I also have difficult hair. The price may be high, but because you only need a small amount, it lasts a long time. I have had it for 3 weeks now and I am very satisfied. Whoever can afford it should get it. Uppercut also has videos on its website showing how to style your hair with each product and which product is suitable for each hair type.

The worst thing ever, stay away.
The best by far. It's worth even more than its price. I would buy it with my eyes closed
