ASUS ErgoSense Keyboard, comfortable typing experience
Your comfort is our top priority. That's why the ASUS ErgoSense keyboard has an incredibly satisfying feel, with the optimal bounce and key travel precisely calculated. Experience the ErgoSense keyboard and soon you'll find yourself typing effortlessly during your work.
Full-size keyboard 19.05 mm
The full-sized 19.05 mm key pitch is the same as that of a desktop keyboard, allowing you to get your work done with exceptional comfort and typing accuracy.
Keycaps with 0.2 mm curves
The 0.2 mm keycap shape is designed to match the shape of your fingertips, so your fingers are gently guided to the ideal contact point with the keys.
Long key travel 1.4 mm
The long 1.4 mm key travel allows you to type without needing to use much force. And the special rubber dome, designed by ASUS, ensures that your keystroke force meets just the right tactile bump you need for a nice grip.
0.1 mm embossed keycap head
When fully pressed, the keys of the ErgoSense keyboard do not sink below the keyboard level. The keycaps remain at least 0.1 mm above the surface of the frame, providing you with a comfortable, ergonomic typing experience.
Improvement of the numeric keypad layout
Complete data processing tasks in a flash with the improved layout of the number keys! It features quick access keys for calculator, CE, and +/- functions, as well as increased spacing to match the full-size key layout for more intuitive number entry.
Optimal Click Ratio
The feel of a keyboard depends on the critical ratio between the maximum force (also known as actuation force) and the contact force. The maximum force occurs when you press the key and reach the maximum force that the underlying rubber dome of the key can withstand without deforming.
The contact force occurs when the bottom of the key touches the circuit board to trigger an electronic signal, which in turn produces the appropriate action for the key. To achieve the most natural keyboard feel, ASUS keyboard experts have scientifically determined that the optimal ergonomic click ratio for a key is between 45-60%. These forces are measured and precisely tuned using the rubber domes designed by ASUS under the keys.
Perfect in every detail
The Vivobook 15 keeps you fully connected with its extensive I/O ports. There is a USB 3.2 Type-C Gen 1 port, two USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 1 ports, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI® output, and an audio combo jack - so you can easily connect all your current peripherals, displays, and projectors.

To start with, the laptop is quite sleek in appearance, thin, lightweight, making it easily portable for people who take it to work or school. The features vary depending on the use someone wants to make, it is definitely not for gaming or development. However, it is convenient for simple everyday use; personally, I use it for basic browsing, file management, school assignments, and light programming languages (Python, HTML, CSS). Generally, the laptop has not given me any problems so far in the 7 months of use; it has a very fast startup of about 6 seconds. In multitasking, opening many applications may cause a slight lag for a second or two, but with many open tabs in the browser, it does not present any issues (I personally use OperaGX because it uses less RAM compared to Google Chrome, for example). The ONLY negative comment I have is about its battery; it lasts about 3 hours with simple use, for instance, at 90% it shows 5 hours of usage, and after an hour of very light use, it shows 50% with an hour and a half remaining. I have enabled battery saver mode and set all the settings recommended by the laptop for battery saving, but I don’t see much improvement, so I always have the power cable with me. Overall, however, I consider that 700 euros these days is just OK for a laptop. Among the positives, however, are the different features that the laptop has; the keyboard is immediate, responsive, and feels quite nice, the screen has a good viewing angle with mid to good colors. Would I recommend it? Yes, but it would be ideal for simple, home users if it were on some discount.
Very good screen, processor, and relatively lightweight. It is very fast in demanding tasks and silent. The only downside is the battery life. At least, it has 45W fast charging.
