Perhaps the most beautiful toaster. It toasts perfectly!! Crispy on the outside, melted on the inside. A big plus is the button to turn it on and off without needing to unplug it. Excellent construction.
Sturdy construction.
What I was looking for and only this toaster offered it, is an on/off switch.
Also, it has a small drawer for collecting grease.
It comfortably fits 2 large XL toasts, melts the cheese, you can secure the lid for crispy toasted sandwiches or leave it open if you don't want them to turn brown. It has a light that shows when they are ready. The construction is quality. The plates are removable and dishwasher safe. It has a switch. I believe it's the best choice for its price.
I have had it for a few days now, but it is miles better than the previous no name one I had! Very sturdy construction, non-stick plates that come out very easily for cleaning, even cooking, and quick enough not to burn the toast. It can fit 2 large toasts. I will come back after a while if I end up not liking something.

In the positives:

In the negatives:
- The closing height is not adjustable and when it closes, it presses the toast too much, causing the cheese to spill out
- I would prefer the toasting to be a bit slower for a crispier result
In conclusion, comparing it to the previous toaster (Izzy Panini 123):
Much higher quality construction, faster toasting, more even, and a huge advantage with the removable plates.
However, the significant disadvantage is the closing height, as it presses the toast too much.
The only way is to not close it completely, but to just touch the top plate and then press it down slightly with your hand.
If it didn't have this disadvantage, I would recommend it without hesitation. Now it requires some thought. Maybe there is a better toaster out there that doesn't have this problem...

Satisfied with its use. It is the same as the De'Longhi, sturdy and high-quality. It has an on/off button, so there is no need to unplug it, and a container to collect the fats.

-There are 4 models.
SM 5000 only with sandwich plates for toast.
SM 5001 only with grill plates (this is our model)

-The opening of the hinge is fixed. It does not adjust according to the thickness of the food you are cooking, as with other toasters. In short, you cannot cook very thick or very thin foods. The thickness of cooking is 1cm to 1.5cm.
-The preheating time is 4 minutes, timed.
-It has an on/off button, which means you do not need to unplug it.
-It has a tray to collect fats.
-In general, it is fine, with several positive features. However, it is not perfect. For this price, it could have another set of plates and could have a better hinge for flexibility in cooking thickness.
