Did you find this review helpful? Unfortunately, I made a mistake due to my haste and bought this without NFC, but personally, it's a minor drawback overall. I've only had it for 3 days, so I can't have a complete opinion on all its functions or the battery. So far, it's very good and fast, although it does have some micro stutters in some applications, but nothing significant. The photos are very good, although they clearly lag behind my previous two phones, the Poco F1 (which my son now has) and the Samsung Galaxy S8. The sound is good, just nothing special, and the speaker is not super loud, but it sounds fine. The major plus is its super bright screen, which is still very clear even in direct sunlight. One minus is that it takes a long time to start up after a restart, and the first time I did it, I was sweating cold because I thought it was stuck and went into a bootloop! The S8 opens much faster, even though it's much older!
In general, it's a very good device as I don't have any special requirements other than social browsing and listening to music. However, I would recommend future buyers to be more careful about which device they will buy (referring to NFC) as there are 3-4 different versions available, and only two of them are here. I reserve judgment for future updates since I have worked with it more.
Update: 3/1/24
After all this time, one thing that has really pleased me is the battery life. If I don't use it much, it lasts almost two days. If I have several hours of on-screen time in one day, it still holds up comfortably, as I still have between 20 and 30% battery by around 1 am when I go to sleep. So yes, I would say the battery management is very good.Update 13/3/2024:
After installing the new software and switching to HyperOS, I have noticed some minor issues. For example, my signal at home is weak to non-existent in some areas, I can say. I have also noticed some minor freezes in social media applications, especially when I switch from one to another, it's a bit slower than before, but not to the extent that it causes problems.
