The purchase was made for the Hatano ZeroGround.
The installation is easy but the fastening is difficult:
The ear cushions come off easily, the "leather" part attaches to the plastic. If I remember correctly, it has 6 small ears/buttons around it to detach it from the speaker. It takes some effort to hear the detachment in 1-2 at first and then move on to the next ones, around the perimeter.
On the side that touches your ear, the ear cushions have a black plastic flexible ring between the cushion and the net. You can easily remove it. Putting it back in the new one is difficult: You have to bend/fold it slightly so that it can pass through where it should and then spread out and hold like in the old one. DO NOT snap it like folding paper, it might break.
On the side that attaches to the speakers, it has an external transparent plastic ring and internally, from the leather, a hard plastic ring with clips that attach to the speakers. Between the transparent and the hard ring, the leather should normally hold it firmly, but in the new ones, you will see that unfortunately, the leather is not enough to hold it well, it would need a little more material. Of course, we are talking about a universal replacement and not from the manufacturer of my headphones, so the differences are logical.
You should pass the hard ring little by little through the leather, as it is delicate and can tear. There you need patience and to be gentle. You need to be careful not to tear the leather by passing the hard ring through the side that will attach to the speaker.
From what I have seen so far, the transparent ring may not hold the leather properly for retention, but I have no issue, they do not come off their position.
