Animal-Origin Gelatin (Beef) – a product of animal origin, obtained from the processing of connective tissue from large horned animals, such as tendons, bones, cartilage, and collagen. It is used in confectionery and cooking to thicken liquid mixtures such as ice creams, creams, and sauces.

Depending on the amount used, it can also provide more "stable" mixtures, such as fruit jellies and terrines.
