Samyang Cine V-AF 45mm T1.9 FE Sony E-Mount Lens
Add a wider, ultra-lightweight, ultra-compact cinema lens to your kit with the Samyang Cine V-AF 45mm T1.9 FE lens. This Sony E-mount lens covers full-frame sensors up to 8K and features multi-coating to protect the lens from flare and a 9-blade iris that offers smooth, natural bokeh and impressive cinematic look.
Its autofocus function makes focusing easier when using the lens on a gimbal or drone and features a switch that can store your focus settings when switching between manual and autofocus.
This V-AF series lens also features LED lights on the front and back of the lens, allowing you to easily see if the camera is recording. Each lens in the series has the same form factor with a common center of gravity, making it easy to swap them without reconfiguring or rebalancing your rig.
The Cine V-AF series increases compatibility with gimbals and drones, offering a unified form factor for the five different focal lengths (ultra-wide to medium). Providing a compact, lightweight form with a unified center of gravity, it eliminates the need to reset balance and support equipment after changing lenses.
The autofocus capability of this series will prove particularly convenient for individual operators and drone and gimbal shooting. Each lens in the series features the "Focus Save" function typically found in professional cinema equipment and a custom function that adds firmware-based functionality, providing video-specific features.
Easily switch to manual focus by sliding a button. Obtain a manual focus index using the separately available Manual Focus Adapter accessory.
The new Cine V-AF series supports resolutions up to 8K in a small and lightweight form, which is suitable for use with handheld gimbals and drones, as well as for studio and outdoor productions.
All lenses in the new Cine V-AF series match colors to avoid shifts when switching lenses, and the nine-blade diaphragm allows for natural-looking bokeh.
The lamps located on the front of the lens and the mounting indicator help the user check if a video is being recorded or not during shooting. This tally function comfortably supports video content creation even when shooting in a small space without much equipment.
