A computer on your mobile. I have all my professional work on it and it works flawlessly and very quickly.
It does everything except make coffee.
Very fast, excellent photos.
Finally, the battery lasts me for a day and a half.
On the downside, it is considerably heavier than the S10 Galaxy I had, but it is justified due to the dual screen.
Visually, it is a gem. When closed, it is compact, and its function is very good, but when you open it, you understand why you bought it.
I also got a wallet case for protection. It fits in the inner pocket of a jacket or coat without weighing you down too much.
It's already been a month since I parted with my trusty NOTE 9 to take the next step, and I would like to share my impressions.... First of all, I will start with my old NOTE 9, which after so many years remained a reliable phone with incredible stability and countless applications, and I will make my comparisons with this phone....
The main reason I went for the FOLD 5 was the large screen, and so far my choice has justified me 100%.... My initial concern about whether the crease in the middle would be bothersome disappeared as soon as I got the phone in my hands..... In a magical way, when the screen opens, it almost disappears.... Otherwise, the size of the screen now allows you to use all applications to the fullest, especially work applications where you need space to develop them properly.... For those who don't know, the applications adapt to the large screen without distorting, and you gain the full width of the screen. Also, all the software of the phone is based on this screen, and the multitasking it offers is unique since you can divide the screen into sections and use different applications in each one.....
Aside from the large screen and its unique features, I didn't find any other obvious difference from my old phone..... The sound is good, and the battery lasts comfortably an entire day with heavy use... The size may seem large, but at the end of the day, when folded, it fits where a regular phone fits, and you get used to it easily.. However, the negative I found is its signal.... It is much weaker than the previous phone, resulting in not getting signal in places where I previously had signal..... and not being able to receive calls.....
Of course, anyone investing in this phone will necessarily need to invest in a good case, which would be good to have a stand to hold it up so you can comfortably watch videos...
edit...... Unfortunately, the nightmare of the fold appeared for me too..... 11 months after the purchase, a tiny black dot appeared at the junction of the dual screen, and from there starts a green horizontal line that crosses half the screen!!!! WHAT A SHAME!!!!! Just when all my acquaintances were eager to buy it..... now they started saying I told you so...... I hope Samsung will cover me because I am still under warranty..... Of course, the customer service from Skroutz was very helpful and took on my problem from the very first moment.
edit 2. Very good after-sales service from Samsung, which covered the damage without unnecessary formalities and replaced the screen with a new one in a very short time..... The warranty is for 2 years.
I came to the Fold5 having previously owned the Fold3 and Fold2 (both had already malfunctioned due to the folding screen and were repaired under warranty). As expected, the Fold5 also malfunctioned. The WiFi and Bluetooth suddenly stopped working, along with anything connected to those two. During my visit to the service, they knew the problem before seeing the phone, but when they saw it, they said that because the phone had minor scratches (which are expected after a year of use), the internal malfunction is not covered (!!!!) since the hinge that was hit and the Bluetooth and WiFi component are a single replacement part! The two screens (internal and external) are like new, and as you will see in all cases, none protect that specific point! Unacceptable for a company of this caliber. I am now the owner of an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Very good phone! It has never frozen. The screens are very good, the only issue I have is the fingerprints on the inner screen. The cameras, except for the one on the inner screen, are quite good although for such an expensive phone they could be better. The battery easily lasts the day although I wish it were a bit bigger. The build quality is very good, so far I have no issues with the hinge. Since the Z Fold 6 came out a few months ago, I don't know if I would recommend it this year.
I have had the mobile phone for about nine months now and I can say the following:
Pros: - the folding screen, although square, is the highlight of the phone, with super resolution and colors, turning the phone into a mini tablet.
- durability against drops. With a good case, the phone has fallen several times and nothing has happened to either the small or large screen, nor the fold mechanism.
- very good speakers.
- good camera, although not like the google pixel 6 plus I had before.
Cons: - battery life, with slightly more intense use of the phone, is borderline. Using the large screen for google maps navigation in the car for 2-3 hours or playing games for the same time will require extra charging during the day.
- on hot days, I have noticed an increase in the temperature of the phone even with minimal use.
- the price! As a technology, it is an achievement and it is reasonable for there to be a price difference from other flagship phones, however, when you can get a small used car for the same money, you have to consider the cost as a negative.
Overall: the money required to acquire the phone is objectively high, with this in mind we are talking about a sturdy, beautiful phone that one will have in a case if not
I have the device (icy blue, 512 GB) for four months. Former owner of the s22 ultra. The fold is a real experience. Tremendous construction. Great impressive screen, good camera and video with excellent battery management. With regular use, it easily lasts two days. The AI functions are something else. As for the size when closed, it is very convenient to hold compared to the s22 ultra I had before. Once you switch to such a device, there is no turning back.
It is very convenient due to the large screen, but there the pros stop. Anyone who has used the S ultra will be completely disappointed at every level.
It would be the perfect mobile phone if it had a better camera. It is very mediocre. In ideal lighting conditions, the photos are good. It struggles in low light. The zoom is poor. The Samsung Note Ultra 20, which I had before, takes better photos in most conditions and it is from 2020.
The build quality is excellent. The external screen is not user-friendly due to its small size, but it protects the internal screen, which is the best in mobile screens.
I hope the new Fold 6 borrows the camera from the S24 Ultra.

Amazing mobile phone, first time on a foldable device, I don't think I'll go back to a regular one.
The internal screen is stunning, amazing resolution and colors, browsing is a pleasure, it's like having a mini tablet in a compact form because when it's folded, it fits in a pocket.
The camera exceeds my expectations, the processor is super fast and combined with the 12 GB of memory, it doesn't lag anywhere, even with multitasking.
At the price I got it, below 1300 €, I consider it a one-way street. The only downside, expected of course, is that when you use the internal screen a lot, it needs charging at night.
Stay away from the fold. User of an older fold model. The internal screen had problems! The service told me that the screen needs replacement!!! Unfortunately, the warranty had expired a week ago!!! Samsung, with respect to the customer, does not take any responsibility!!! I have to pay for the screen replacement... 650€! Congratulations to Samsung!!!
I use this phone for almost a month now and am completely in love with it. it is comfortable in every way, elegant and looks not big or heavy at all. I am an IPhone dedicated fan but this Samsung fold5 is even better and is worth its' price.
I have had it in my hands for 12 months, I am slowly getting used to the front screen, it is a bit heavy with one hand. However, when you open it to the large screen, you can comfortably watch videos, Disney, YouTube, and you can type comfortably with the keyboard; in general, it feels like you have a tablet. I also got the S Pen, the stylus is perfect. Now, I don't need to mention the specifications; you get what you pay for. In general, for those who hesitate, I have to say don't be afraid; it has released 6 models with a foldable screen, it won't get damaged. And if you don't have the money for the 6 or 5, I believe going for the 4 is worth it.

Apart from the 2 millimeters slimming and the 10 grams less weight, nothing else has changed from the previous models, and the battery of the fold 4, as stated by GSMarena, is the same if not better.
Owner of the mobile phone for 2 months, still fresh but I have to say the best about this specific device from its beauty to its speed to the work you can do, it's like having a laptop in your hands. From the external screen for browsing to the internal one for gaming and office work. A mobile phone of the future that truly doesn't lag anywhere, plus it fits comfortably in your pocket. Owner before this had an iPhone 14 pro max that definitely didn't fit in the pocket at all, I'm not comparing because we're not talking about a conventional device, the fold is definitely something else from a conventional device as we know. I have had it for a month and a half, it was my first experience with a foldable device and I won't hide that I was skeptical, I had heard and read many things... that it is heavy, that it is disproportionate, that the front screen is unacceptable, that the battery is unacceptable, and many other things. When I got it in my hands, it was simply a revelation! I don't know if I will ever go back to a regular device, yes, the device is expensive but you are not buying just one device, but three, a phone, a mini tablet, and a computer because anyone who hasn't tried the dex must do it immediately to understand what they got.
The battery is incredible considering it powers two screens, one of which is huge, yet it easily lasts a day with heavy use. The front screen is what it should be for one-handed use, especially in combination with goodlock, which finally arrived in Greece. It is a productivity beast, it doesn't lag anywhere and it doesn't heat up at all!
One piece of advice, don't listen to me or anyone else, go see it up close, play with it to see if it suits you. It is a special device and in the right hands, it can be used to its fullest potential, not just for looks and social media, but as a work tool, entertainment, and productivity. In the picture, it seems that with about 5 hours of screen on time, including applications like video calls and meetings on teams on the big screen, you end the day with 25% battery
Fantastic mobile phone. I don't know what to say first. The inner screen is large with perfect blacks, perfect colors, and strong brightness. The camera, because I had seen both up close, is on par with the S23 ultra. The social media apps look perfect since you can see both the videos and the comments simultaneously. The games also look very nice on the large screen. The battery easily lasts the whole day. The fingerprint scanner on the side is very convenient and fast. It can also be used as a mini laptop. Also, with the stylus and the installed Samsung calendar and notes, it is literally like a small agenda. The outer screen personally fits me very well, as my hands are medium-sized, so my finger easily reaches everywhere. P.S. I saw a review showing that the screen had broken in the middle. I don't know if it was a faulty model, but mine, which I have opened and closed around 500 times so far, is perfectly fine. Overall, if you handle it with care (which is logical considering its price) and not like garbage, I don't see how the screen could "break" since it is quite flexible.
As you may have heard or read, we are now talking about the perfected version of the Fold with minimal differences from the Fold 4. Samsung seems to have found its footing and is no longer trying to reinvent the wheel, continuing on certain paths for sure.

Overall, coming from the Z Fold 3, I thought and read that maybe I wouldn't notice any differences. The 5G has another level, especially in the fold category. Buying the case with the pen, I saw that it is the real evolution of the Note, the true concept of a phablet. I have used both iPhones and Notes mainly, but I believe that now with the folds, we are going to another level. I highly recommend it because it is an investment.
After a short period of use, this happened... and the warranty does not cover it. There is a crack in the middle... Samsung asked me for €680 right off the bat, the phone has not been dropped, the rest is in perfect condition... (it's really a shame to throw away your money...)
Transitioning from the Samsung Z Fold 3, the "experimental" model of the fold category. The Z Fold 5 is the perfected version of its predecessors. I won't mention the features, etc., which are more or less given. The -minimal- change in dimensions results in me using the outer screen much more for social media, etc., but when you need a tablet for work, the inner screen is there for you. Tremendous sound, greatly improved from the previous model and compared to other phones for gaming, movies, etc. Screen and build quality are truly impeccable. Overall, it is a greatly improved version of the previous models and the first complete one in the Fold series. Sturdy construction that you're not afraid to open the inner screen and break it (unlike the older models, especially the 3 which did eventually break). If I can find one or two negatives, the first is the camera. Anyone who wants it for social media, to become an influencer, etc., simply won't do. For those who need a phone and tablet together for work, there is truly no competition. It is a computer with a terrible camera (compared to the competition) that folds, plain and simple. The second negative is that, like the previous models in the series, you can't find more than 3-4 good cases on the market to protect the phone. Samsung itself, I don't think, offers more than 4 cases, and none of them have a front cover. For a phone that is theoretically the company's flagship.
