  Got this from an electrical supply store, with good recommendations and a 2 year warranty. This COB LED is dimmable, IP44 rated, and has 480 chips/m. Whereas most manufacturers stick to a semi neutral 3000K for warm light, Eurolamp offers this model in several temperature options including a true cozy 2700K, which was a pleasant surprise.

  Strength-wise, upon immediate connection, I was extremely surprised by how blindingly bright they were. Looking away, my eyes still had an intense afterimage for a few seconds, a similar effect to that when you look directly at the sun. Being dimmable, of course, I was able to set them for dim cozy lights for the evening time.

  It is too early to comment on the adhesive, but the electrician who installed this seemed happy with the adhesion to the wooden curtain pelmet. Adhesion straight onto walls is trickier, since walls have a bumpy surface. It's typically recommended to use a profile for direct use with walls. If you intend to keep those on for long durations, especially at high intensity, then I'd reocommend using a metal profile, which will serve as a heat sink and keep your strips in good working condition for many years.

  I got it for about 20€/5m, which I think is a reasonable price. I truly recommend this product.
