Ideal for portraits and distant subjects.
The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 R is equivalent to an 80-300mm telephoto lens and is designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. The moderate maximum aperture helps achieve a compact and lightweight form factor, while an advanced optical design that uses extra-low dispersion and high refractive index glass controls a variety of aberrations for remarkable sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy.
Enhancing its versatility, this lens also features a Movie & Stills auto-focusing system, which is fast, silent, and precise to suit both photo and video shooting applications.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Very good performance from a little flashlight that looks like a children's toy, plastic from the fairs (that's why one star off), but it serves me well for what I want, which is to bring my subjects closer, and whoever can handle it, as they say, some reviewers were right, it really is miraculous, I just could have bought a used one, maybe a 65 model, crazy?
A little gem as they say! I bought it from a foreign website on sale for 150 euros, but even at the price in Greece, I think it's worth it. Of course, I use it with the brand new g9 mark ii, and even at a shutter speed of 50 for full lighting, the photos come out as if you have a tripod. Excellent sharpness! Lightweight but with a slightly "cheap" construction as it is made of plastic. An excellent all-round travel lens for landscapes, portraits, nature. I think it's a must-have for someone.
Impressed with the value it offers in relation to the price. As a beginner in photography, it is encouraging that I can take clear photos without breaking the bank. Highly recommended.
For an amateur use, something more than excellent especially considering its price. Plastic, yes, but not cheap plastic. Solid construction. It can handle decently well in good lighting conditions (not necessarily bright midday). Personally, I would highly recommend it.
Highly recommended. It was the first m43 lens I used when I bought an OM-D em-10 ii last summer. Very sharp, especially in the center. Better than the 14-42EZ lens I use. Great value for the price.
Of course, it is made of plastic, so it requires caution not to hit or drop it, although this caution should be given to any lens, to a greater or lesser extent.
Very good lens, especially for the price it is a gift.. It's worth every last euro.. Fast autofocus, very sharp and excellent image quality.. If the construction was better, it would definitely cost much more! Nevertheless, it appears to be very sturdy. Buy it without hesitation
I bought it because of its low cost and was impressed by the results.
It truly is a lightweight but high-quality diamond. What will impress the user is the clarity and sharpness it provides even in the most extreme cases.
I believe it should be included in your equipment because, in addition to the quality it offers, it is also very lightweight. Five stars are truly not enough.
A very good lens for its price.
It has a fairly fast AF despite not being a particularly bright lens, and one would expect it to struggle in low light conditions. Quite sharp throughout its range.
Mine has a slight play in its mount, which I notice when the focal distance ring approaches 150mm. It doesn't impact the photos, at least I don't perceive anything, but it feels somewhat unpleasant. That's why I deduct one point from it.
Excellent in photography and video. I use it with a Lumix G80 and the results are amazing.
I cannot find a flaw in such a cheap and convenient lens, ideal companion for the 14-42 kit, which is also excellent. It is silent, fast, and sharp enough throughout the range. A benchmark for imitation and for other companies (Sony, Pentax, etc.).
Fast AF, sharp enough for professional use, very good for portraits due to the focal length
For its price, it is by far the best economical tele-zoom regardless of the system.
Extremely lightweight and fast in focusing, it provides solutions in the absence of a larger telephoto lens.
Sufficiently sharp at all focal lengths.
It is not a pro lens, but it performs exceptionally well for what it is.
I didn't expect him to be so good!!! I would buy him again
