The frankincense essential oil, also known as olibanum, is derived from the resins of the tree with the botanical name Boswellia carterii. It is one of the most commonly used essential oils in aromatherapy.

Safe use: Do not use essential oils on the body. Use a carrier oil such as almond oil or jojoba oil. Mix in a ratio of 10ml (carrier oil) to 5 drops of essential oil.

All essential oils are quite irritating to the skin and should be avoided by pregnant women and children under the age of 5. Individuals with heart conditions and hypertension should use them with caution and medical advice.

Avoid sun exposure after using any citrus essential oil (Lemon, Orange, etc.) for 12 hours due to skin irritation and photosensitivity.
