A protective pond liner made of synthetic PES fibers reliably protects the pond's lining from stones and root penetration (except for bamboo). The liner is cut when creating a pond liner, and it should be designed to complement the sand substrate beneath the pond lining. The liner distributes load points over a larger area and thus protects the lining from damage.
